Having searched through all the posts and read them regarding after-market exhausts i need some help and pointing in the right direction. I was after the HKS ones either the dragger or the other (cant remember name) but since they have been discontinued i dont know which one to go for I am after a definite louder noise, not intrusive in the car but can be well noticed. I love jap car's with that deep throaty sound. :P I have listened to the sound clips of the prolex kazama (sp??) but still cant weigh it up. Please any help really appreciated.

AD77 i am already going the same route as i did with my previous car. Subtle future mods: TRD kit, New Alloys, Upgraded brakes and replacing the lighting :D Once you pop you cant stop :P

Aye, they are both copies. Can tell the genuine items with the red TRD packaging also the japanese writing accompanying it.

Any idea what kind of insurance increase is expected with the TRD bodykit on?

I was thinking about installing a proximity alarm like i had on my last car so it gave warning when some t**t felt like vandlising or theiving. It were a cobra system and was great at keeping the scum away, except for the odd occassion when cats or strong gusts of wind tripped it off The IS system is good but for complete peace of mind i am thinking of adding a second system. Would it therefore have to overrun the OEM alarm?

I am just down the road from you in blackburn! Mine is a 2001 sport as well but with sat nav :P I have owned mine for approximately 2mnths and am still loving it. Wanna start the subtle mods now though Hope everything goes cool for you mate.

Any idea what these styling alloys are like in terms of the poor quality seen with the 17" alloys? I believe corrosion was a problem etc. Do you have to be a gold member to get this deal?

I know exactly what you mean :tsktsk: They are F****** scumbags. Either they dont drive or own a piece of ***** & are just generally jealous as well as psychologically demented and decide it warrants them to destruct other peoples property. I had my last car keyed to death :tsktsk: Thing is i eventually lost interest in it because it really depressed me as i knew that the scratches were there. I have had CCTV installed etc since then but i found i happens when park up in town or some other location so what are you to do not go anywhere?? I really sympathise with you mate. How did you get the rear quarter scratches out by T-cutting it?

Thanks chaps. I would go for the TTE front bumper but really like the subtlety of the TRD front skirt. So i take it that the TTE front bumper comes with the sport grille already as part of the unit? Whats your opinion go the whole TRD route or mix with TTE?? By the way what are the TRD and TTE parts made of, plastic or Fibreglass ?

This has really put me off going to ASP. I hope the members who wrote here get it sorted out asap as i would be fuming

Was wondering whether it is worth forking out the extra expense for the Lexus sports grille (which is over priced in my opinion) or buying the TRD style one off ebay for a lot less?? Does the OEM sports grille come with the 'L' in the centre? as a lot of members seem to have removed it? Is it a direct replacement fit as well?? Any help much appreciated ;)

Hi I too was gonna go the german route but i am very pleased with the lex so far :D 4weeks of new ownership and counting :) Welcome to the board and these guys are very helpful and friendly now to go gold after my holiday.

Old school lacoste is great, the new stuff is scally wear. I only wear the retro stuff and my stuff from back in the 90's.

I dont think there is a lot you can do mate Things like this really get my goat :tsktsk: People who do things like this deserve a F****** booting up and down the street. I guess you can get a quote on how much it will cost to respray it. Dont touch it up as it will look a mess.
