  1. Mate, my kitchen floor was flooded from the dam thing, im still seething with rage from it. Its a Haier which is a sister company of one of the bigger brands, think its Hotpoint. Spare me the jibes tomoz to Aido, it may still be a sore subject!!! :P
  2. My frggin washing machine decided it wasn't going to work today, randomly without warning it just displayed an error code on display which according to the manual means this; Err8: Water exceeds protective level Correction: Check the circuit and contact the maintenance personnel. Anybody got any experience in this field and can maybe shed some light on the matter? I've cleaned the drainage pipes, removed a 2- coin from the filter and drained the machine but it still keeps displaying this err code. Am I better off dumping this machine which is only just over a year old, or better to get it repaired? Cheers folks, Kaz.

  5. Difficult to recommend any couriers. They all incidents at some point resulting in lost stolen or damaged goods. It was only Thursday I had 42" Plasma delivered with a Broken glass screen. Thankfully as the condition of the packaging was iffy I refused delivery. Try FedEx....heard they were pretty reliable.

  14. You can buy a fool proof polisher from halfords. This has bare minimal of damaging the paint. Like this one
  15. Perfectly normal for most phones. You'd be amazed how many problems I had from customers who never turn their handset off. Once every 3-4 days for 30 seconds can do all the good!
  16. Seems a bit quick for a discharge. Sounds daft, but their weren't any interior lights left on? Boot etc...

  20. I've used a really good Turtle Wax Colour restore before with pretty good results. Its in their Platinum range so its not the cheap stuff you can buy, give that a try with an orbital polisher. Job lot will cost about £30 mate. Give the car a good clean. Dry the car off thoroughly. Apply the restorer, wait for 5-10 mins to haze, buff off with a the machine polisher. This will instantly reduce the appearance of blemishes, swirls and small scratches. Then I've found using a colour based polish gives it a deep colour shine. Gently apply the polish and leave 2-3 mins to haze. Buff off with a lint free cloth. Then if you want the full monty job, wax the car like you've polished it, then you can give the car a top wax gloss. This is really liquidiy and so easy to apply. Go over the car quickly and by the time you reach the point you started you can again buff off with the machine polisher/buffer leaving your car with paint that looks deep enough to paddel in!
