  1. Inside the rubber door seal mate :) I thought so, just didn't want to presume. You getting alot of wind noise Aido? From the car that is. Must admit my drivers door sound terrible at high speeds. Maybe I should invest in some new seals or another solution myself.
  2. Help me out, where you sticking this? Through the door gasket?
  3. Theres probably a fair useage policy with the "unlimited" statement so be wary. Just rang Orange they can't get anywhere near the prices ive found on the net for the HTC Touch HD and because Orange are the only people to have the HTC Touch HD that means i cannot transfer my number if i take out a new contract via the web. Which means G1 here i come. Cheapest contract i found for the G1 are here if anyone is interested. http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phon...1-Black/85,8058 And cheapest HTC Touch HD deals where here http://www.mobilerainbow.co.uk/alldeals.asp?id=1477 You can port your number across at any time of the contract. Be it in the 17th month of the contract, you can still do it providing its an active number on a network and your pac code is still valid. Unfortunately you dont always get as good deals as taking out a new umber with the network, so best thing to do if you want to keep your number is port across to another network on payg and then port across to the network you'd like the handset on. You do not need the pac code before setting up another contract. As I said, there is no time limit on when you can transfer a number across.
  4. In teh past ive had good quotes from Virgin, More Than and im with Esure now. Mines up for renewal in April, will shop about in March.
  5. Yeah, true. I don't wanna hash job doing over my in patience. Im just to often eager for the end result and not the preparation!
  6. Looks like Red's doing it for crisps now :o you may still get your stella as Kazi look like hes gonna need my full attention now! Is it that hard work? If so, then i'll have a crack at taking the door cards off. My main concern is the tweeters if im needing adapt the enclosure.
  7. That looked like it was being dropped off at a scrap yard anyway...
  8. Dunno mate, got mine about 2 year ago off Mr Morse. Were fitted at the Plank by Lee Iceman If I remember.... I just wanted a clip of them in action.
  9. I would if I knew how! lol, apart from which, id like to arrive in a little luxury. Looking forward to the meet and putting these speakers in. Will be bringing my camera down, I need someone to take a short clip of my break LED pulse lamps. And no Funtimephil, noooooooooooooooo fog lights!
  10. :shutit: Such a sweet looking car from the side profile...well, usually anyway!
  11. Got a Linksys and D-Link router, both have been very reliable.
  12. I'll be there a little earlier, probably preparing for my speaker installation ready for the help from Redz_Uk! If everyone can aim to be there around 1pm we can do some modding etc, then get a bite to eat...or whatever.
  13. Cheers Chris, suggesting the idea is the easy bit, its getting you guys to agree and come! :D So far so good! Would be nice if Lee Iceman could make it, hows he doing?
  14. Yes mate, the meet will give you some ideas about what you'd perhaps like to do to your car. Some subtle and some a little more obvious. Will add you to the list dude.
  15. No fog lights on though Gord - Can I take you up on that offer? B) :D
  16. Yeah, course mate. The more the merrier! Paul Cross you've also been added together with Steve2006! Yer i even went in a BMW once And I once drove it! Was bloody nice to! B)
  17. Yeah, course mate. The more the merrier! Paul Cross you've also been added together with Steve2006!
  18. I'll nip into Halfords tomorrow and check stock of those ones in my link, I'll buy them a bit nearer the time and bring them along, if they are no good and the box is unopened im sure Halfords will take them back. Think the ones you've just found Dj Wozza are the same ones as Halfords ones. Even has the same part number on the box, just Halfords have listed it wrong on their page.
  19. Cheers Redz_uk and DJ Wozza, I owe you one! Nobody mentioned I need an adaptor though is this the adaptor? Click Me As for the speakers dude, they are new. He specifically stated that they were boxed and unused....
  20. I have a Dremmel with a selection of adaptors for it, would bringing in the different ends in and using the cordless drill be easy enough? Maybe DJ Wozza can shed some light on this...., although the back of yours look dead neat and tidy.
  21. you bring the cordless drill mate and we can do it... and a dremmel :winky: (cos those tweeters are a little larger than oem) Wounded, don't have a cordless Dremmel... Is changing these speakers going to mean I can't stick the OEMs back in if I sell the car?
  22. you bring the cordless drill mate and we can do it... Cheers dude, much appreciated, as is everyones suggestions and input on this thread. Will the speakers come with self tappers or fixing screws etc? What size drill bit you think I need?
