  1. Steve - yeah all that, just wondering though if there was anything daft i wasn't doing or whether there was something common on Lexus's that caused this. Thanks for the replies all, will hopefully get it sorted under warranty although looking at the weather, there's no rush now :D Jon
  2. Just wondering (in case theres any problem with the warranty), roughly how much would it cost to get 'regassed' ? Thanks Jon
  3. I bought my IS200 last November and so (foolishly) have never used the air-con, switched it on for the first time on Saturday and despite going for a good run, made absolutely no difference, air coming out of vents was still warm despite me pushing the temperature right round to its furthest point. I've had cars with air-con before, on other cars I can normally hear when the air-con is switched on by a change in the engine noise but on my Lexus, nothing, the light comes on but thats it. Car is still under warranty so I can take it back to get it looked at but just posting here to check that I'm not doing anything wrong or if there is anything I can check first ? Thanks all Jon
  4. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a make/model pressure washer that they use for cleaning their car ? I'm looking at the k'archer range but would prefer to get a recommendation from someone ? Thanks Jon
  5. Filled up this morning and for the first time was able to fill up the whole tank without it cutting out every couple of secs :D Trick seemed to be putting the nozzle in and then pulling it about an inch (fnah fnah), didnt need to lift the hose or jiggle with anything else. I think thats enough for this thread and its innuendoes :winky: Thanks all for replying. Jon
  6. Yeah I've had it occasionally on other cars but Lexus does it all the time and takes an age to fill up due to having to let the fuel go in slowly Cheers, Jon
  7. Hi all, Got my IS200 SE a few weeks back and aside from the mpg (had a Rover Diesel before and do 120 miles a day!!) I absolutely love the car, nicest car I've ever had. Got a weird problem though when filling up with fuel (all to often!), if I pull the handle to the pump right up ie fill it up as quick as poss, the pump cuts out as if the tank is full, I have to sort of juggle and find a balance but the petrol then takes an age to go in as its not going in at full pelt. I use different garages so its not the pump, anyone else have this niggle with their Lexus ? Cheers Jon
