They are one and the same...same factory makes them for all the major brands...called the factory myself after receiving a set for another car of mine! :D

Oil level is good. Not sure how much its using, no vast amount of wastage showing. Problem only started recently, so haven't started topping up oil as yet. 30w oil

Is there any way I can verify that this might be the problem without pulling down, would any of the guages show anything is wrong? The normal gauges will not tell you anything, you need to do a compression test. Worn rings will show up as low compression but I would be surprised to find that in an engine with only 38,000 miles on it. That's providing it has not suffered from lack of lubrication at some point. Also I did say that a blocked breather was only a possible, I will try to find out more on how the crankcase breathes on the 3S-GE. I will post up what I find out unless Mat comes back sooner. I appreciate any help I can get, so thank you for your time and energy helping me. B)

That cable is clear and free! Nothing blocking it at all... Cable? It's a pipe that runs from under the engine cover into the induction just infront of the throttle body. Sounds like you were looking at the throttle cable! Sorry, did not mean to use the word cable, I have looked at the rubber tubing/pipe you speak of and I have even borrowed a friends' and put it on and tried it, same problem....I am at my wits end...car has only done 61000 kilometres, I would hate to think it wants an engine rebuild so soon... Is there any way I can verify that this might be the problem without pulling down, would any of the guages show anything is wrong?

Thanks Mr Singh, I think your right, I'll check it out. I have change the suspension back to the orginal factory spec form the TRD setup due to the roads in my area..the result is much better for the car and my back... Is the TRD suspension setup still available or has Mr. Zee snapped it up?

It happens when I am flooring it. Car is still stock...not have to start modding it. But I haven't removed anything at all. What is that?

My Altezza 3S-GE engine smokes sometimes now...what could be the problem? Smoke is kinda bluish as well. Doesn't smoke all the time, only sometimes when I am really pushing the car. Help me please!!!

I got your PM Razablade, but I am still clueless as to what's wrong with mine. What's I've had to do is buy a wrecked one very cheaply and I've transferred the engine and wiring for it last weekend, and doing the final fixings this weekend coming and I'll be rolling again. No one could tell me what was wrong. I admit it was kind of a long haul thing to do but I was getting nowhere and my car's been down too long. Also, the ECU of these cars controls almost everything in it, so you've got to get someone who has software and equipment that talks to that ecu. That's the only way. Good luck.

Does anyone know if the 2003 model altezza has an immobiliser and if so, where is it and can it be disabled?

Colin is there any documentation anywhere on the net about this engine/car or do you have anything you can send me, 'cause I am all buggered out over this now. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Trying to get the information about the codes, but the local dealer doesn't know jack ***** about altezzas and therefore doesn't know what the codes would mean...

For the two different computers for the 6-speed 3sge altezzas....is there a difference between the two? Meaning, are the maps any different, any new features on the newer ecu?
