Hi Guys just a quick question here, just of late the remote locking buttons on my key fob seem to be dying in power. I used to only have to press it once and the car would lock and unlock. Now i have to stab it a few times to get some action. I think it is a battery problem but does anyone know how to change the battery in the key fobs and where i can get a battery from. My mum also uses the car and she is useless with the key fob keeps on in my ear that it doesnt work and ends up setting off the alarm. The other day she acidently pressed the door lock button when she was inside the car and locked herself in not knowing how to get out!! someone help me please!!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

I had a worrying sound coming from the rear. Thought it was the suspension but when i looked in the boot i realised the Lexus car jack had come loose in its housing. This was knocking about making a disturbing dull noise. Check that on yours mate.

That survey must of been put to a load of townie chavs with no class!! How dare they even list it within spitting range of the Hyundi "accident" (as put by top gear presenter). The lex is a qulaity car that has looks that make people look and stare. I always get "nice car!!" and when you say "its a Lexus" they all know exactly what it is. Like someone else said earlier in this post, i can list about 10 songs that rappers talk about their "lex" and they have been featured in loads of music videos. Kanye West almost died in one but it was so well built that it saved his life!!! I opose that survey!

From reading this port it would appear that lexus drivers are younger which seems weird to me as all my mates said i would be like an old man driving a lexus! I thought the IS200 was more of a 30yrs+ car so if you are 20+ with one then great!! Although alot of people on here (including myseld) seem to be early 20's the concentration of these people on the road are rare in my eyes. Whenever i see another Lexus driver on the road he/she is always alot older than me. Maybe its because the younger generation know how to use computers which is why we end up on here? lol

Hi guys im after some advice here. I have never had a private plate but am just about to buy one from a guy. I just wondered what the process was with regards to him transfering the plate over to my name (how long that takes and if it costs?) and wether i will incur any other paper work or costs before the plate actually goes on my car. Its a Lexus plate for my lexus (obviously) so im really keen to get it on there. Thanks

Hi guys im wanting to instal my single din motorised screen unit in my lex but i need an aftermarket face plate. Any ideas where i can buy one from? Anyone on here selling them? Let me know. Also im after any other details on wiring it all in and any tricky bits etc. Any advice would really help.

Im 20 years old in my last yr at uni, have saved for the car for ages as i fell in love with them at 16!!Finally got my IS200 SE a few weeks back and havnt stopped smiling since :D . Not sure if you other younger drivers get it, but people forever think im a drug dealer or conducting some dodgy business, i hate it. Whats wrong with having a little class in your life. Who cares about your age really most of the people that say that are probably just jelous becasue they wish they had a quality car like the lex. A big thumbs up to everyone that has managed one at a young age!!

This is the thing i can measure my headrests no probs and they are more than 7 inches but i dont know whats underneath them and if the 7 inchers will fit in them . Hmm i'd really love to hear form someone who has actually got 7 inch screen in their headrests. Then i know for sure before i purchase.

Hi there guys im after buying some headrest lcd screens, ive been offered some 7 inchers at a good price but was wondering if they will fit in the headrest of my IS200? Has nayone fitted this size in theres, or does anyone know if they will fit? Many thanks
