  1. I had a horrible feeling it might be that. Thats another £100+ Thanks for the quick response mate
  2. Hi all, Just wondering if there was any update on this as mine is doing the same but it is also running like a tractor, at low revs it feels like it will cut out at any moment, and performance is practically 0. I had a fault the other week with it where it was a p1300 code fault which turned out to be coil bank 1, I had that replaced and all was fine, but now this starts. The thing I dont get is that when the first coil bank went, I had no warning lights, now this starts and I have a flashing ECS and TRC OFF light. No real faults in all my 5 years of having this car then all hell breaks loose in a month.
  3. I believe they call them tea lights. put it on a dish in the car and you shouldn't get any misting up over night....You should be able to get in the car and drive off no problems, assuming it isn't a smouldering heap of scrap where the candle some how managed to land on something flammable. I would like to stress I have never tried this and never will, so if anyone does try it let me know. If you try it and your car blows up, then it's not my fault :D
  4. Apparently if you stick one of those little candle things in the car and light it, it will stop the car misting up, which kinda makes sense as it would eat up the moisture. But I am not willing to risk it myself, I can see it now well the windscreen hasn't misted up, just a shame that my car now looks like the end result of a joy ride (burnt out)
  5. What details of the HGV do you have? The reason I ask is that (please don't flame me) I work for GIST. There are 7 main depots though so it would take a while but I could look into it for you. And i am sorry to hear about it mate, but 'The Transporter' said most Drivers sre very good in this country. If you need any numbers let me know, I can give you direct lines to people to stop you getting fobbed off.
  6. Hi all, Now I have had a similar problem to this before but this time with a bit of a twist, but first the resson why. I got up to go to work at 5:30am, there I was all set when I couldn't find my keys, now this happens a lot as my 2 year old son seems to think it is funny to hide them....So far they have been in a coffee cup in the cupboard and also the freezer which I thought would be the most bizarre place they would be (I was wrong). I managed to get a lift into work and a few hours later I got a phone call telling me that the keys had been found and unfortunately had been through the dishwasher. Suprise Suprise they didn't work when I tried them so I got a new battery and dried it out but now the key wont inlock the door, I tried the spare but I think the battery has been dead for a while so I tried the new one in that but still no joy. Now i know how to re-program a keyfob as it has happened before but this time I can't get past the alarm to do it. I have tried to just unlock it using the key and waiting for the alarm to stop, but as soon as I try to do the re-program the alarm kicks off again. If anyone has any ideas how to go about this please let me know as if I don't get this sorted soon my son is liable to get his next shower in the same dishwasher. (joking) Thanks
  7. YES!!!!!! Exactly Like that, I was searching around and didn't see that link Thanks for your help, I think I will start saving. Thanx again Stuart (Amateur Forum user)

  11. City of Heroes is a great Multiplayer online game. But you have to pay a monthly subscription to use the server
  12. OUCH!!!! But is it possible to use the Factory standard screen, but intergrate it with a Navigation system......Please someone let me know if I am speaking rubbish. It's just that It seems the ideal place to put it, is on top of the dash. But if it didn't fit right it could just end up looking tacky
  13. What is the cost for something like that, as I would love to get it done but do have a small budget problem :duh: . And Congratulations on yours
  14. Hi Guys, For the first time I am posting a topic, which doesn't involve me having a fault with my car (touch wood). Heres the thing, Iwant to put Sat Nav in my car, with a DVD player, but I want it to look like the Standard Lexus Sat Nav.....Can this be done. As much as I like the Alpine type of Sat Nav with the screen that comes out of the Head unit, but it just doesn't look like it belongs. I know this is asking a lot, just wondering if it can be done, and if anyone has done it. Thanx Stuart
  15. Hello again, Thanks Colin for the advice, did a search and found the instuctions you were on about. They worked great and I now have a fully working key again. Thanks to everyone for your comments, they were all very helpful. Will speak to u all again soon, hopefully with no problems :duh:
