  1. Did you know that your local tax office do free workshops that talk you through most of this. Also depending on your earnings and circumstances you may not have to pay class 2 or class 4. Ring up and ask to talk to the business support unit!
  2. You coming then dude? :) Just had a look back through the thread and it seems its going to be Wed 6th, so yeah should be good!
  3. Aye sounds good, any date 6th Sept onwards is good!
  4. Nice one Mike, I thought you know somewhere. I'll pop down and have a chat with them in the week.
  5. Does anyone have any recommendations for a refurbish in the Nott'm, Derby, L'boro area. Had a quick search and only managed to find some posts from '04 recommending Pristine in MK.
  6. I took out the center heating control unit and stereo to fit the Aux-In unit and everything was working perfectly until night-fall when I noticed that the three center bulbs were not working in the heating control knobs (just the center bulbs for the Heating Screen, Air Flow, and A/C, everything lit on the rest of the panel and all the controls worked including the three centre buttons. Also the Snow and Trc Ctrl bulbs were not lit. After driving for a while the Snow and Trc Ctrl bulbs re-lit but after pushing the buttons they went out again, loose connection I thought, but I've pushed everything home and tried to check for loose wiring. Anyone give me a couple of clues? * Can you take the Snow Trc/Ctrl unit apart to check if the bulbs are sitting firmly, if so how? * Is there a common colour of wire for the light feed? * Is there a fuse that might cause the strange three bulb only issue on the heater control?
  7. Thanks for your organisation Mike, nice catching up with folks again!
  8. Aye, this thursday coming! Cheers Mike!
  9. A very good friend of mine, Dave is on the committee of the RX-8 club so should be able to answer any questions you have. Also Chris on LOC had an RX-8. If it wasn't for the standard of the dealers, I'd be tempted!
  10. Thu 9th March is good for me, I'm in Delft on the 23rd...
  11. Nope, but you can mark any point on the map, assign it an icon and an optional sound that plays when you approach. So as I go pass a speed camera I press the "mark" button and set it as a speed camera. Thanks for the clarification, I thought for a minute I would be able to ditch the TomTom, oh well! :winky:
  12. > Directional POI e.g. speed camera Oh can you upload your own POIs?
  13. Yes, Lexus Nott'm, what a joke. I travel about 45mins down the road and use Lexus Stoke all the time. They will price match any reasonable competitor and will honour the best LOC Gold discount off the whole price. Very friendly and excellent service.
  14. I had exactly the same problem (roughly same timescale too), after a short thread on the Gold Forums, I got my replacement card through the post today! Thanks to whoever posted it!
  15. Darn, been stuck in brum all day and didn't get chance to read this. Certainly up for another mini/big nott'm meet in the next couple of months any wed except the 1st feb would be good.
  16. Try: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...k+%2B%2Bservice Which gives you: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...l=60k+++service It pays to ring around...
  17. Thanks for your ever useful reply, I'll up things to 35PSI and see how things go when I come for the fine-tune.
  18. 'ditto' I even re-subscribed this year and didn't even get a thank you email! :-(
  19. After a years study and geometry set-ups a conclusive pressure for the IS200/300/SPORT is 35PSI front and rear, assuming the car is 'stock' any modifications add a personal pressure this is not available for display. Hi Tony, would that also be the case for a stock IS 200 Sport (Styling Kit) with the standard 18" Aero alloys? I'm currently running 33PSI.
  20. Thanks Mike, another top midlands event! I'm still suprised some people got off without getting a good beating by the people on the other table...
  21. Aye, I pulled into the Shell Garage to fill up, I must have been driving like a gent for the last week as I did 393 miles to a full tank with about 20miles on the yellow light. As for the idiot in the people carrier, naar. I just keep getting people doing that to me on J25 of the M1 now they have changed the layout. It was nice to see everyone again, thanks for Mike's hospitality and for those that found images to ruin everyones Christmas lunch! :yack:
  22. Beat me to it by an hour, just finished reading this on the Reg, grr!
  23. Was yours the blue one with Styling Kit on a few weeks back? ← No mine is Platinum Ice and is re-advertised on Ebay at the moment, had lots of emails making silly offers but I am not desperate to sell at a silly price. ← Okay, cool, good luck with the sale, if it was the blue one, then I might have had a few words with you. :winky:
  24. Scruffy's is cool, otherwise a curry house would be second choice after having a Nando's on Monday. I should be there between 6.30 and 7 depending on traffic on the A52. See you all later...
  25. It is an excellent site, I think I wasted a good few hours looking through!
