I am test driving a '95 GS300 touring edition. She has 96,000 miles and runs beautifully. I called the previous owner and he told me a little bit about the time he owned it. I would like to get a few questions answered from you guys, since this is probably the best place to get the best info.
-Headlight capsules are very faded. How much can I expect to pay for a new set?
-Does this car have a timing belt or chain? When should it be replaced?
-For everyone that owns the same model, do you use premium gas all the time?
-With 96K, should I use synthetic oil or regular Castrol?
-Anything I should watch out for that is common with these models?
I appreciate any help you guys can give me. I hope to respond tomorrow afternoon with "new gs300 owner!" :D
