Guys Its a sad day . I just sold my Lexus this evening and saw her drive off from my driveway for the last time! I had 2 wonderful years with the car and managed 2 JAEs also but alas its over! I just wanted to thank you all so so much for everything!! Your help, advice, comments criticism (good + bad lol) and above all your friendship. I'll pop back on here from time to time as this really is a cracking forum! I hope the new owner will join up as I have told him about LOC!! Its hard to type this as I feel like theres been a death in the family but I know deep down it was time to move on. Guys I cant do a HPI check on a car because I am over in Ireland and it keeps looking for me to input a UK address. If I do put in a postcode in it goes onto next screen but then the my credit card details and the entered address dont match (obviously) and I cant proceed. Does anyone have any free checks to use that I could bum? Owen

It happened again a few weeks later. I reckon it was something to do with the chip inside the protective block breaking down and failing due to heat. On both occassions it was a hot day and the bonnet was up. Rang TTE and they told me that the chip inside the block can become compromised overtime due to heat. Since I've swapped out the Piggy back ECU I've had no issues! Owen

I got insurance with Hibernian but if you think Lexus Ireland are going to entertain fitting a SC ot Turbo to a Toyota Altezza you can dream on. Lexus Ireland wont even look at an Altezza!!!!
