right got a second hand sensor and left upper arm, i am still having problems with the abs, i have no abs light on but when ever i break to stop just before the car comes to a complete stop the abs kicks in for a second then the car stops it only does it at very low speed meaning just before the complete stop. anyone else have the problem. and as for the upper left arm at the front the tyre was being worn on the inside at a tremendous rate but tracking etc all checked out ok i have put in a differant arm now but to be honest there was nothing wrong with the old one as far as i could tell. any advice would be appreciated regards

Hello all, i have fitted a set of 19" wheels on my lexus and the car has the apperance that it has been raised. Is there anywhere that does lowering springs for these cars. i woul dlike a 30mm drop not to much but just enough to take the apperance that it has been raised away. cheers

cheers for the quick response, yeah the seat is defo not working as i have had the car 3 years and there is no heat coming from the seat. with the abs sensor and radio i have been searching the breakers with no luck does anyone know of any lexus specialist breaker at all in the uk. cheers again

Hello peeps hows it all going? Right i have a few questions i hope some wont mind helping me get to the bottom of. 1) the drivers seat is not getting hot i suspect the heating element has gone is it possible just to change the heating element or does the seat need to be sent away to a shop to get it repaired. Also if it is repairable where can i get the part other than the lexus dealer as they are very expensive and i hate getting ripped off. 2) Front left upper control arm bushes have gone and causing the tyre to wear very badly on the inner side of the left wheel. Lexus want 341+ vat so they can stuff it really. Anyone else have a source for this part. 3) front right abs wheel sensor is playing up when i brake at low speeds the abs kicks in. i did the abs diagnostics by bridging terminals on the diagnostics port and reading the error codes and has come up with the front right wheel sensor. UK driverside. any advice would be much appreciated and i look forward to the help. regards oh by the way my display on the stereo is playing up anyone knopw where i can find a second hand unit for a few pennies.

Hello all, just found out about this forum as i was searching for heating elements for my 1996 ls400. so thought i would join in as i am a member of many forums due to my interest in cars. can anyone tell me where i can find the elements for the drivers seat as lexus wants 137 and 87 + vat for both which is a bit steep. i am told this is a very common problem so there must be somewhere else that does them. also i am after a stereo for it as my display has started playing up which i am also told is a common fault. hope to play an active role in the forum as i am a mechanic and tuner on my spare time. regards
