  1. More bad news for you, I'm afraid: as the harrier is 4wd, the emissions test is MUCH more expensive - GBP1500 ex VAT at MIRA. The vehicle may also need to be tested up to three times if it is a borderline pass, each time at additional cost. And because there are only a few facilities to do 4wd testing in the country, there's a bit of a wait... :( It's not specific to Toyota/lexus, but I've written a fairly comprehensive blurb on model reports on the ClubVR4 forums here. HTH
  2. You're unlikely to find anyone who will 'lend' you a Model Report. They cost anything from around £1500 to £5000 to create. The person who commissions and pays for the report then owns the intellectual rights to that report - in your case modelreports.com. They can then rent the report out for a charge and so eventually make their money back. Your only options are to pay the rental fee, or commision your own report... £300 vs £3000ish... of course, you'd then own a model report that you could rent out. However you'd be in direct competition with modelreports.com who are already established and well known, so it might take you a long time to get your money back Of course you only need an ESVA with a model report if your vehicle is post 1996. Full list of model reports available to the public can be found on VOSA's website - you might be lucky and find someone else with a report for a bit less, but the £200-300 mark seems to be the going rate for most vehicles
