Hi Kev I have a brand new set of centre caps still in their original wrappers that are now not needed, I will sell them for £60 the set + p&p....which is way less than they cost(think they were about £35-40 each), but no bolts or keys i'm afraid, these are quite cheap tho and easy to get from lexus. let me know if you are interested Jeff

Hi all. considering selling my car to look for a mk2 aristo tt..........any idea of value??? R reg GS300 sport (genuine) 69000 miles...fsh....Dark blue....beige leather....12 months mot...6 months tax.....totally original....no repaintsanywhere....even has the sport sticker on the front bumper!! Some small marks acording to age....but nothing that spoils it!! Wheels professionally refurbed....but in BMW style glittery silver with deep lacquer(my choice...brings it up to date a bit)....looks fantastic and no more corrosion... and also crystal repeaters on the wings.... Hi My pleasure with the brakes info!!! The centre caps are brand new...may have some tiny marks from being put in a box...but no corrosion or anything worth noting....the front and the rear are both the same in all respects...colour..size..fit...everything. Cost £45 each new!! regards Jeff

Hi. Had the same noise from my brakes....It turns out to be the wear indicators..which are an integral piece of the back anti rattle shim behind the pads which sticks out and touches the discs when the pads are getting low!! I think these are on the front only.....although my back pads were just as bad!! Changing the pads and discs is a very easy job....but be sure to check the caliper is free as they are very prone to siezure regards Jeff

Hi Matt Have read recently that 1998 gs300 cars suffer from abs booster pump failure!! see ebay item 200036090375 as this car states this quite clearly...It sounds like it is a common fault you are looking at!! hope this helps. Jeff

Just to put the record straight....the halfords big recharge tin does have a pag oil charge!!

Thanks for the halfords tip........got one of the cans....refilled the air-con, and it really is that simple!!! Now icy cold again..for less than £40 inc. a free air-con system cleanser... WELL PLEASED..would recommend anyone try it....safe to do, measured, and very easy..
