  1. Hey, this is my first post in this topic, and just like to say, the car is coming on very well... You've made some pretty quick progress there, and its really good to see that you're doing alot of the work yourself :) Keep the pics coming, i'll be keeping an eye on this topic from now on! Cheerio, and keep up the good work mate :D
  2. ...but now you just turn the volume down?
  3. LOL the last word makes it worth watching over and over again! LOL
  4. LOL quality... lets not forget the latest in British Summer Eyewear :D Also in a limited collection of colours...
  5. same sorts of interior as found in Guilhems? (Yemgi) albeit the colour scheme is inverted... nice example > that one on ebay ^ Q. Shouldn't the Altezza (Turbo'd) have more power than 250bhp?
  6. You'll find one!! Stay on the hunt, there's still a few good examples of this car out there! Yup, I doublesided taped mine also and a bit of silicone sealent... (in addition to the bolts) mainly to protect it from water intrusion and rusting etc...
  7. Sounds like a common issue, mine did this for a while also. I try to keep the sunroof blind shut, as it reduces the audible rattling. I recently took my roof lining out, and just padded up the area which i thought were rattling with some sound deadening material. This didn't help, suggesting that the rattle is not clearly visible, to stop.
  8. i have played around with alot of the ebay relays and autoclosure modules. I'm not an electrician, but i know a little about cars, and not afraid to give things a go. If you're looking for FULL autoclosure on the windows, then don't bother... i've wasted £100s of pounds finding and developing a unit that would work sensibly. But none do. First few units I used refused to power down... draining the battery. Other units would continually retrigger to wind the windows up. More recently, a module that was SO close to working, worked in a very unpleasing way. 1 window at a time... and then failed every time it got to the drivers door. However, you don't have to take my word for it... try it yourself. You will need to intercept the +12v line between the door switch and window motor, from each door panel. This will connect to the brown and blue from the modules. You will need a +12v continuous feed (drivers kick panel) and an -0v earth (chassis). Then you will also need to trace the trigger wire from the loom (drivers kick panel). This is by no means your definitive guide, just to show you sort of skill is required when experimenting. NB: ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK! Finally ensure that you have a fire extinguisher handy, lol. Have fun :D
  9. Hey Chris, I recall when I put my spoiler on, that I bolted them on in 3 places, plus 1 larger hole to run the wires for the LED. So at a minimum, I'd guess the sport spoiler has 1 hole where the brakelight wires are being run from, even if the rest of it was bonded on without bolts. If these coincide with the high level spoiler, you'll be fine :)
  10. hahaha quality vid, wish i'd thought of it :D
  11. Hey had the same problem with mine... i think the ballasts got wet, then corroded and shorted inside... kept poping fuses... They can be found in the fuse box next to the battery... when standing over the passenger wing looking into the engine bay, there is a line of 3 x 10A miniblade fuses closest to the battery on the right of the fusebox... check all 3... the fuses are sided.
  12. long process to make your vote count, but it's done :D
  13. Hey Chris, As seen on my car, the Washers are fitted. The bumper had plastic mould markings behind, which if followed, make the perfect shape for the washers. Just stick to the markings, and you'll be fine. :)
  14. right guys :) i did this today :) was quite some fun.... not as much as go-karting, but it's not bad... i was only allowed 1 lap in each car... my time was 25.72 in the MX5 and 25.05 in the RX8 I dont know when the results page gets updated, but alot of people were going pretty quick... in the 24s... maybe even a few in the 23s... not bad for only 1 lap though :D
  15. Used to race karts in my somewhat younger days but still go out of my way to find tracks wherever I am as still love it ...have karted in Perth Australia, Singapore, Celle Germany, Houston USA, Prague Czech Republic, Majorca, Norway and Cyprus as well as tracks in the UK. My son started at the age of seven at Castle Coombe kart school, but he seems to have found other interests now he's turned 18 Whoa that's some experience in karting! I think i'll make that one of my life goals too... so far i've done Milton Keynes Daytona, and Budapest :D
  16. It's totally easy! You'll be addicted in no time :D
  17. They just have no respect! When i heard that kids were just letting the tank taps run away the clean water, i thought that was bad enough, but bleach and urine!!! That's just a next level of disrespect! Who do you blame? The parents? The schools? or Society?
  18. The stack is available, I would just like to test it before I sell to make sure it's 100% working :)
