  1. Lexus could not supply the fitting kit without the spoiler, so I made my own. I have fitted the spoiler and it really improves the look of the car as well as, keeping the back window clear of dirt. thanks again for your help in getting the spoiler. :)
  2. I am looking for roof rails. Roof bars are available, but don't do much for the look of the car. Roof rails are also available, formula 4x4 has them in stock, but they won't fit a car with a sun roof. The bars mount onto the roof and not in the roof channels. I had considered trying to adapt them to fit the channels, but thought that I would check first to see if anyone knew of another option?
  3. many thanks for the post, I would like to see a picture so if anyone can help with getting this on-line, I would be grateful. If you can confirm the dealer details I hopefully will be able to order these direct. Thanks AGAIN :)
  4. I spoke with Lexus UK about OEM roof rails. Unfortunately Lexus have only roof bars. Formula 4x4 do roof rails, but these will not fit if you have a sun roof. I am looking for rails that would fit into the roof channels, even if I had to do some modification. Anybody got an idea?
  5. :mat: Has anyone fitted roof rails to a MK1 RX300 with sun roof? If so, do you have details of the supplier?
  6. Thanks for the heads up Terry. I am now the proud owner of a Lexus spoiler. I only need to get it painted and find a fixing kit to have it on the car.
  7. Many thanks for all the suggestions. My local dealer had a look and freed the motor up. The car had been sitting for a month and for some reason the motor, which redirects the airflow had stuck in one position. It is recommended to run through the program every so often to keep it free.
  8. No its not the outside air. The central vents seem to be only switched off using the control dial, with the mode chosen shown on the screen. No matter what mode is chosen the air continues to come only through the dash vents. It looks as if the controls are not responding although the screen is showing the changes input!
  9. I wonder has anyone had a problem with the air-vent controls. On the touch screen I can alternate between the functions but unfortunately this does not seem to help. The air blows constantly through the central dash vents. The AC controls the temp. OK, but even putting on the screen demist will not divert the air flow. Has anyone encountered this problem before? I'm due to take this to my local Lexus dealer but would like any help that can be given, Thanks. :mat:
  10. Many thanks, do you know if the spoiler needs a fitting kit?
  11. Can anyone advise where I can buy a roof spoiler for a RX300 MkI? :mat:
