When going low speed and hitting bumps there is a clunking noise in the front of car, does it have an air suspension? I had the struts checked and they were o.k. 00 ES300. Thank you.

I have a 00 ES300 that has acted strange a couple of times. It has stalled out on my wife twice and then will start back up but will die again when the transmission is engaged, I can get it going by feathering the brake and gas, then it does fine for a month or so. Any suggestions out there? It has 145,000 miles on it and has been a jewel.
