Anyways I phoned Adrian Flux today and told them not to automatically renew my policy as I told them that I had obtained a much better quote :winky: They asked if I wanted them to try and beat that quote,they called me back half an hour later and said that they were finding it very difficult to beat the quote but that they would drop the commision that they earn so that it would be more competitive and I managed to save another £90!! Guess I'll be sticking with them for now!!

I've searched this post and only managed to find a list of insurance companies, but am hoping someone can help me narrow my search down as a lot of you guys have a modified car. My car has non standard alloys is lowered and I have changed the front grille and most insurance companies that I have phoned say that I need specialist car insurance!!! Anyway I am currently insured with Adrian Flux and have a very reasonable renewal quote but have had a bad experiance with them so I would like to change to another company if I can get a decent quote. Can you guys with specialist insurance post the companies that you use by any chance?

Cheers guys, I managed to find out that the unit im buying is multiregion and compatible for use in the UK.:D I also found out that if it was a US model then the radio on the FM frequency would'nt work but with a little FM expander thingy:eerrrmm: it could be made to pickup the UK FM frequency. Hopefully I will have it fitted by next week!

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone knew if the pioneer avh-p5700dvd from the US would be the same as a model from the UK? I've seen one on Ebay well actually this is the second one that I've seen, the first one was paid for but never received and a complete loss of my money! I've now sourced a second one which I think is at a good price but need to know the compatibility. Cheers
