Hi, all. Had an IS 200, loved it but at 110 000 it started loosing water and I couldn't find why, assumed it was a cracked head but no tell tale signs. Always loved the 3 series coupe and at the time IS 250 sports were hard to find. Very pretty car but the heater had broken and after numerous attempts to repair it was a potential money pit. It Always had a slight missfire but i enjoyed it. Once I'd had a drive in the 300, it was a no brainer. I couldn't risk putting anymore money into the 3 series and I had every warning light illuminated on the dash, faulty sensors. The warranty is really good from Lexus with the yearly service.

After 14 year's with BMW I'm back with Lexus. Found this at a main dealership, never seen a red car on the road.

Hi all, I was in my Lexus showroom (Liverpool) admiring the ISF in Mica Blue with cream interior,,, Got the usual "can I help you Sir", I said if you can do an F Sport in Mica blue i'd buy it now,, after 20 mins the sales manager came out and said it would be a special order (obviously) and i'd have to put a deposit down but it wont be here until September (dont mind the wait)but he said he was confident Japan would do the order as the ISF in the showroom was a special order from the factory. I'm going ahead with it as the colours gorgeous but what do you folks think or know about F Sports being ordered in this colour. Or the chances of it happening atall?

I know the ISF comes in this colour and the convertable in the US but are there any plans to get this colour on the F sport. My local dealership say they've done a factory order on a Blue Mica ISF, so why could'nt they do one for an F Sport? Dave

My IS 200 jammed open last May when i knocked it down a gear to overtake someone, dipped the clutch pulled over switched off then re-started it,,,,all ok???????

They don't seem to do them for the IS 250??

I've searched the threads and seen all the links for non Lexus body kits but wondered have any of you got non Lexus body kits fitted and where did you get them from. Is it better to buy in the US? . I'd like a spoiler a bit more beefy than the Lexus version. Dave

Now that theres quite a few of you who have done body modifications and put on different alloys etc spoilers, skirts etc. Could someone direct me to a link where they might collectively be all together as current pics are scattered on all sorts of threads. Dave

got mine done yesterday at a mates porsche specialist, at 78k IT WAS WELL WORN and the 3 aux belts were looking very tired the tensioner is about 30 quid from Lexus and TBH i'm glad i got it done sooner than later

im in the same boat or car mines an IS 200 sport 78000 6.5 yrs old so tomorrow its getting the new belt and the three aux ones ,,might as wek replace them as theyre coming off anyway and plugs filters and an oil change,, do you need to tune them or is the engine management system keeping a watchful eye

Well that sounds promising and direct from the horses mouth. I spoke to a guy from Lexus GB at one ride and drive event and he confirmed that might be bringing out a convertible but said he didn't know when. OK how much will they pitch it at, they cant price it out of the market?

I was in my local dealers wherbye he says these 2 models should be available early next year,, errrm i cant even find some proper pics on the net Ive read a few pieces on the V6 or V8 but has anyone got any more on them the salesman was convinced they would be on the forecourt next year?????

Hi folks,, I have posted this before but someone has told me its just a dirty lens (which is what i thought it was anyway) OK CD cleaners i've cleaned my DJ CD players by taking them apart and cleaning the lens with pure alcohol on a cotton bud,,worked fine,, But how on earth do i get in the unit to clean the lens,, Dave

My CD is rarely reading cds these days, i have used discs of many varietys that i've compiled on my PC and i've tried real ones bought in HMV but theres only one or two discs that work (theyre both actually ones i'd made myself) I tried one of those cleaning discs with the little brushes on but to no avail. Is there another way of cleaning the lense?
