The mirrors didn't dip on the SE I had as a loan car.

The rattles come in over time, as for how annoying depends on how sensitive your hearing is. For me I could hear them over the MM stereo while set at volume 12 and on the motorway. I suppose they aren't that annoying, and you do get used to them, some IS's I've driven have been worse than what mine was others slightly better but none silient. All the new style IS's I've driven have had the problem. Mine has now been in 4 times spread over 15 days to get it resolved and now it's 95% sorted once they actually listened to me telling them where it was rattling. Has to go back to get the front door rattle done then it'll hopefully be quiet appart from the dashbaord. I didn't let them work on the dash as since the car is only a few months old I didn't want it made worse and it's only every so often. Only downside to getting it fixed is that my roof has a lot of oily marks over it and they still haven't cleaned it properly. Still when it goes back hopefully it'll get valeted properly then. Apart from that I am extremly happy it's almost quiet now.

I'd guess the key you've got has a grey plastic part rather than the black in the picture above? If so that's the 'parking attendent' key, as in it'll open the door and start the car but not open the boot or glove box. So if you have one of those it's almost certainly a dealre visit to source a proper full access key.

Does the noise occur when accelerating and braking? or turning corners?

As it happens I do still have it saved on my HDD recorder. I keep it that way and make a copy for you and send it over if you are still needing it. Depending on where in the East Midlands you are we could meet up and you can take delivery :) or wait until the Christmas meal as I think you are there as well to get it, depends on how desperate you are :D

That's what I get in my IS300 on my daily commute of 20 miles each way. I get into the 30's on a long motorway run, neither of those are hanging around either. im lucky to get 400 in mine ← If you are getting 400 to a tank then you are doing well, I normally get 350 and that's about 26mpg.

Yeah it's £1.50 per minute depending on your tarffic. If you are on some of the cheaper monthly contract it will cost you that much. It's a minefield trying to work out some of the costs involved.

Hi, without knowing the model number it's a bit hard to be precise. There are a couple of things you can try. 1) Power it off for a minute then let it reboot, might simply be a bit confused this should sort it out. 2) If the router is the type with removable ariels for the wireless ensure these are attached to finger tightness, if not tighten them :) If they are slacken them off and retighten. 3) Make sure the aerials are actually stood upright, laying them flat really reduces the range they can transmit over. Apart from that it's correct try a different frequency band. If you've recently physically moved the router, move it back! it's in a poor place for reception.

Have to say I'd wanted to check mine for a while, this post prompted me. From starting the job, removing the filter, clenaing it and reassembling everything took me less than 5 minutes! A very impressive guide and a very straight forward job to do, or so I found.

Prefer not a Friday but I think I can make the 17th, have to check Tues/Wed that week.

My local tyre fitter was asked about this, and his response was a it's a total waste of time and money for a road vehicle. Essentially the only bennifit that nitrogen gives you is that it doesn't leak out through the rubber of the tyres so if you get the pressure correct to start with it maintains it. With air the 20% (or so) that's oxygen will leak so dropping the tyre pressure over time, as you re-inflate the tyre the percentage of oxygen gets lower and lower so effectively you'll end up with alomost nitrogen filled. His opinion don't bother and save yourself the money.
