  1. Welcome on in nice tidy tez you've got good bargain ;)
  2. I like them B) really nice idea car looks sweet what are your front headlights/side light/ fogs really like the colour of them
  3. yes it could be done depending on how much room there is I done this on my old 306, if there is enough room between the back of the backbox and bumper you can simply cut off the old exhaust tip and weld in place the new Y shape/twin exit tip
  4. yep you can fit in the 3S-GE in no probs there will be some differences so won't be a straight swap there will be some slight differences in the loom as some of the sensors are different and there's only 1 o2 sensors used in a manual altezza also the bell housing is different on the 3S-GE so you may aswell look for an engine with a gear box you could use this site www.toyodiy.com to check between the differences hope that's of some help
  5. Thanks Janey that'll defo be a bit of a road trip but I may have to head that way anyway as I have a friend in the trade who has contacted the manufacture of the rims I have in mind, and they said that no-one stocks them there are plenty of dealers but the rims are machined to order. anybody else know of any shops with a large range of wheels in the area bellow m4 and around the M25 thanks in advance
  6. Hi people I started a post in the wheel and tyre section but not had no response so though I would ask the question here I'm looking for some new rims for my tezza, can anyone help with shops where I can go view rims in the flesh link to topic in wheels forum
  7. I'm looking to get some new rims for the tezza as the tyres will need to be changed soon so fancy some new wheels can anyone tell/help me of any wheel/tuning shops that have a large range of wheels on display I'm interested in some DOTZ rims but would like to see them in the flesh before parting with my hard earned pounds I live down in dorset by the sea so there's gonna be a bit of driving to do anyway so probably make a bit of a day of it driving about all over the place. anywhere sort of south or around M4 area or london way is great thanks in advance
  8. ouch I've got a heavily mod'ed tezza and with sky insurance got a very good price go to the main part of the forum and scroll down to the traders section and all will becoome clear
  9. sounds good I've got GAB's fitted to mine very firm ride but feels rock sold when your gunning it
  10. yeah recognise the 200 is this another 1 for the collection
  11. You two can go out to play together  yeah just means I'm gonna have to keep it clean now @ Ian take it you was part of ultimate jap cars ?? what did you drive before ??
  12. OMG a Tezza on my door step
  13. I'm running a TODA 2.2ltr low comp set up with boost, so can't coment on performance on a high comp set up. I was running the engine for about a year before I fitted the turbo kit I also had a TRD 4.5 final drive kit fitted at the time so even though the car was 20bhp less at the wheels there was a lot more torque but this could also be down to the diff (not fitted on the car now) TODA do both 2ltr and 2.2ltr on both high and low comp internals costing about £2500 I think I'm running a stock head with 0.7 bar boost so a few mods required before turning the boost up more so I haven't even started looking into the head
  14. bugger haha yeah mate defo intrested in goodies you can bring over
  15. the blue 1 looks sexy ;)
  16. he never replied to my pm so dunno if he found 1
  17. I think most of your questions have been answered on parts and tuning, there's not a problem in getting parts plus you've got the added advantage of knowing jdm shops in japan I found my tezza over here so as not having the headache of finding 1 and importing it there are a lot of auto's over here you have to look a bit harder for a 6mt you car shouldn't struggle passing the emissions test, but your road tax may cost more due to the test being now being about emissions rather than engine size. I'm not sure what the law is with importing cars over 10 years old is. I had in my head that they where slightly different from importing newer models out of interest why is yours a J spec RS
  18. have you removed your speedo cluster at all recently for fitting a dial kit or LED`s for example If so check that the plugs are in firmly or try unplugging them and plug them back in (all done with the car off) I had a simular problem with my altezza as the gauage never went below 1/4 of a tank with the car on I found this out by running out of petrol twice
