  1. well if you've blown a hole in the block you gonna need a new 1 and thats that you could maybe think about dropping an MR2 Turbo lump in as I'm sure they use the same bottom end in as the Altezza I just know the heads different. you may have to look into this for a bit as you will be turning the engine round 90 degrees so there maybe other things to think about
  2. link to online IS200/300 pdf manual I know this is for the IS. But I can't see toyota having different loams for the IS/AS and RS
  3. the Altezza system is 2 3/4 inches so there isn't really any need to increase the bore size of your exhaust system, having to big a bore can actual have a negative effect
  4. Hmm not 100% sure as I've still got the jap battery on mine would of thought you could fit a battery from an IS200 or maybe even a MR2 or Celica
  5. I've sent a mesage to the seller of this and the only thing that puts me off is the high millage displayed on the clock 148000 miles
  6. yeah I had spoke to mike about this a few years back but there didn't seem to be the interest to get a group buy going. I think he was talking abot £250 a unit, so that why I jumped on this 1 :D
  7. Hi guys I've got a black 99 tezza and want to find out the paint code for it is it the same as the IS ??? or does anybody have the correct code

  12. can anyone point me in the right direction on how you would go about removing the head lining from inside an IS200 any help welcomed
  13. Yeah Chris is now good for Audi/VW parts ;) found my local toyota dealer useless, didn't really seem to show much interest in my requests, think mainly cos i was looking for a part for an import and it would of meant doing a bit of digging as he was moaning that the import parts are hard to find because it wasn't a UK frame number on the car. In the end I spoke to my mechanic mate, who contact Lexus Poole, He Spoke to a young guy there, really helpful new about the import models and sorted the part out no problem at all. Even compared the prices between lexus and toyota to see if there was any difference in price. :)
  14. as it reads is there anyone on the forum I can buy genuine parts from
  15. sort the exhaust system out, manifold and decat, fit light weight flywheel if you can ( I have 1 for sale check the buy and sell forum ) and get a camcon fitted. that should see you running about 190 at the rear wheels
  16. thanks very much for the help I'll give you a shout once I've found out which 1 it is
  17. I've recently changed the final drive on my Altezza from 4.1 to 4.5 and now the speedo reads over I was wondering who re-calibrates the speedo cluster when you import a car ??? Is this done by the importer or is this done at the test centre can anyone help as I'm looking to get mine done
  18. thanks very much I'll have to print it off and take it out to have a look at the cluster but it may be of some help
  19. does any body have a wiring diagram or the pins for the speedo cluster in the RS or maybe even IS ???
  20. where you have the speedo surround ( the funny goldie bit) there's 2 screw in the top of it I think, and 1 down below where the ignition key fits in around where your knee would be once you've taken them out you should be able give it a bit of a pull and it'll come off then there another 3 holding the cluster in you should be able to see all of these
