I dont know much about engine & transmission compatibilities but you find lots of diesel japanese cars in UK/Europe are manual only but in japan most are offered in auto too & most of them are Turbo Diesels too. No auto??!!considering BMW & mercedes diesels etc...are offered in auto option, did i say most turbo diesel Toyota cars in japan are offered in auto?!

I dont know much about engines & not really looked in the bonnet since i got the car. Can anyone tell me or pref show me with some images or if not exact location of where the Alternator & the Air Condition unit for the IS200 is? Thanks

Whenever its cold pref the morning the power steering makes a noise but goes away after warm up & i notice the power steering pump is leakign slightly. Anyone had expereince this? I went to my local japanese specialist garage & told me its been like this for a long time & nothing to worry about & it cost would £300 for a power steering pump repair kit. Is this right price or too much & should i do something about it? i dont want it to get worse. I did do a serach & found someone used a 'seal kit' that got rid of the leaks & the noise on their power steering but thats a LS400 Lexus. Thanks in advance

I not too keen on wood interior unless its a GS300 or a 7 series, i would prefer it if is 'grey wood' like on the Honda accord type-s ? Wonder what it look like in yellow if u get them in yellow, the now previous is200 looks good in yellow.

I hope that circular control nxt to the map light above the front seats isnt a manual non electric sunroof winder! I rather have no sunroof!

I like it, bring it on! Looks very different to the old is200 in every way. Is there gonna be a IS300/350 in UK? Does the Diesel have a automatic option? BMW & mercedes does after all.
