  1. See this thread for a similar discussion: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=20764
  2. Thanks John - I wouldn't have even thought about that! You are probably right it is too risky. Looking at the Witter website (new to me) is this the one you have: http://www.witter-towbars.co.uk/towbars/qu...x?PartNo=ZQ3019 If so can you tell me more about how it attaches? I presume there is another piece that is attached under the car. The pictures on that site make it look easy to remove the curved ball attachment - is this true? It doesn' matter how ugly it is if it can easily be removed (no tools) between uses. Cheers, Graham
  3. Does anyone know if the US tow hitch (PT228-48035) can be fitted to a UK RX300 (2004). Looking at the tow hitch it has lowered sections for the exhaust pipe on both sides. The US one has the exhaust on the right side. The spare wheel is not obscured by the hitch thanks to a curved tube. The electronic connector is 4 pins, 3 housed in plastic all in a row - this may not be compatible with UK electrics on trailers / bike racks? The UK tow hitch is fixed and ugly - this one is cheaper ($260 v #500), has removable 2 inch square attachments. My problem is whether it will fit? I worry that the reason they don't sell this one in the UK is because it doesn't fit! Any thoughts? Cheers, Graham
