    Yup, the highest octane (from a pump) is Tesco super at 99 RON AFAIK. It is a petrol/ethanol mix, I use it in the Tezza.

    BEAMS is a generic JDM Toyota term, is stands for Breakthrough Engine Advanced Management System (or something other gobbledegook like that)! It is commonly applied to the 3S-GE Altezza engine for some reason, maybe because it is in big letters on the engine cover! It has nothing to do with performance or tuning. As Rob said above it also applies to the 1G-FE engine in the AS200, you don't come across many of these in Europe, there was no real point in importing them as they are the same as the IS200.

    Would agree with Stav, you must have some serious negative camber at that height. You will suffer really bad inner tyre wear.

    I would get a decent socket, I have the Halfrauds Professional and they are good quality for amateur work. They have a lifetime guarantee and if you break one of them they replace with no questions, or so I'm told, never broken anything yet! If you take the rad out can you get an impact driver in there? Like THIS

    According to THIS LINK it is 5.3 litres with a filter change.

    The fraud comes in if the parent declares that they are the "main driver" e.g. the driver who puts the most miles on the car when in fact one of the named drivers is the "main driver". This affects the level of risk on the policy and the premium. Insurance companies have now made it more tempting to do this by offering NCB to named drivers, so in IMO they are partly to blame if they get scammed.

    Read it again he was 19, so don't give it the stereotypical young boy racer and 40+ year old drink driver. Sad waste of young lives is all I have to say.
