  1. Thanks for all the positive comments guys! Skeet - not sure about the MkII, but on the MkI all they needed to do was cut the edge of the backing plate away as the Supra discs are bigger and trim around the bracket mounting holes as part of the backing plate was in the way, but after that they went on without a hitch. Mr. Singh - if you mean the vains inside the disc, then yes they are.
  2. Massive imporvement! Especially as one caliper was binding and the other had seized! The entire kit was around £1300-1400. I've fitted 2 pot Supra calipers at the rear with 3G grooved Supra rear discs.
  3. Check out these bad boys! 355mm grooved discs, 6 pot calipers - serious stoppage! B)
  4. Not sure where you got the idea that an FMIC is one of the cheapest mods or one of the ones that are required for BPU. Simplest Supra mods are FCD, exhaust, decat, restrictor ring, spark plugs and fuel pump which are all required to be at BPU safely, boosting 1.2bar as you said, and all these also apply to the Aristo which will see identical power gains. If an identical Supra went up against an Aristo, the Supra would win as it is substantially lighter, but I wouldn't say it would be a complete whitewash.
  5. It might be there for a good reason, but Japanese cars are the *only* cars I've ever driven that have warning beeps to tell you that you're in reverse. 'R' and 'D' are pretty far apart on the gear selector, plus you've got the gear indicator right ahead of you in the dash and the gear selector itself will be sat in almost the same position as it would be in Park, so there are a lot of things to tell you that you're about to go backwards. Plus if you want to fit reversing sensors, the beep will clash and must go.

It's got potential I reckon.
  7. I'd love to mate, but I can't find one - Edworthys only do them for the Mk2 according to the website.
  8. Welcome aboard Michel - one pimptastic Aristo you have there! Seb (also off the Supra forum)
  9. Email a chap called Nic - importpimp@mac.com. He's a trader on the Supra forum who's based in Hong Kong and can get all sorts of parts - he sorted out a double DIN fascia plate for one of the guys on here. Seb
  10. Good stuff, welcome aboard!
  11. Just a quick one - when you change to an aftermarket headunit, I know you have to change the amp as it won't work. Do you need to get a normal amp or a monoraul sub specific amp that some companies do? Cheers Seb
  12. Ah, well spotted, my mistake. I'm sure you'll love it!
  13. Nice looking Mk1 on Autotrader now for £2495 with 65k miles and full leather - bargain if you ask me. Saw a Mk2 on eBay that didn't sell, even at £4500, in good condition and with reasonable mileage. Edited to add: It's not the silver one on Autotrader with the black wheels is it? If it is, it's a bit overpriced at near enough £5k.
