Hi all, so my air con compressor has packed in and needs replacing, the noise it’s making sounds like metal vibrating around when the engine is on and the air con is off or on. I can see the pully has seized too. Car drives fine but sounds awful 😥 Has anyone had this issue and what was the cost to get it repaired. Have seen a Denso compressor on eBay £345 so not sure if that’s a good deal or not and get a garage to fit it? Regards joel

I should expect counterfeit product for this price but it was worth giving it a try. Beware of the seller, after submitting photo evidence, he was still insisting that the plugs are genuine - stay away from this person. Had to pick up genuine plugs from local dealership and do a comparison. Electrode in ebay plugs differs significantly from the genuine product. Genuine - welded iridium electrode, fakes have whole electrode made out of the same material. Fake Genuine Fake Genuine on the left Genuine at the bottom Genuine on the right - notice that genuine plug has welded piece of the iridium or platinum to negative electrode, fakes don't.

Greetings good people, I need to change my bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor and I was wondering what Denso oxygen sensor to buy? I have called about five Lexus dealerships and quotes are between £170 and £250 per sensor. Three dealerships confirmed the part number as 89465-48180, while two said they cannot divulge part numbers. A while back, I read on one Lexus forum that some RX300 owners were having luck with the Denso 0243 oxygen sensor. I just wondered if this sensor will actually do? If not, I would appreciate information on the right Denso sensor. Thanking you all in anticipation of your helpful responses. - Twinkle

Sooo, I'm a newish 2007 GS450h Lexus owner, and have got a few error codes appearing on her :( They are as follows: Am I right in saying, these are all just a dodgy bank 1 sensor 1 (engine bay) and possible sensor 2? Is replacing them myself feasible? I'm from the UK so would want to import Denso sensors from the US (OE parts but way cheaper?)? I have to figure out the part numbers first, unless anyone here knows what they are? It seems like a lot fewer people have embarked on this job with the GS450h than they have other models, so any advice would be amazing!

Hi all, I think this is my first post, I haven't use the forum in a while so I'll reintroduce myself if I haven't already done so. I'm Dill, 21 years old from Leicester. Have been driving a IS200 sport for around 4 months now that was acquired off my father who no longer needed it. Have loved driving it so far, the silky smooth straight six is just ace. Just thought I'd post a link for you all, I'm aware that a lot of Lexus IS and users of other models have issues with the key casing cracking and breaking due to the poor design of the shell. Since I acquired my lexus I have had the OEM key break on me, which had cracks in it when I acquired the car, and two non branded lexus keys also crack and snap. I was surfing on eBay looking for genuine Lexus keys and I came across these OEM Denso keys from Hong Kong and for a couple of quid they look like a steal so I ordered two. What I plan to do is take the innards out of the two aftermarket keys I have at the moment, put them into these Denso keys that I have just ordered, then take them to a local auto locksmith to have the keys cut down to size. Anyway heres the link and I hope you find it useful, as soon as the keys arrive I'll be reviewing them and letting you know of my experience. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XBlack+Remote+Key+Keyless+Entry+Fob+Replacement+Case+Blade+Shells+For+Lexus&_nkw=Black+Remote+Key+Keyless+Entry+Fob+Replacement+Case+Blade+Shells+For+Lexus&_sacat=0 Thanks and I look forward to speaking to you all soon!
