I realise this topic has had a wide range of discussion for pre 2010 models, but I thought I would throw my penny worth in. Having reviewed many systems that involved taking apart the dash, which I was loath to do, I have just finished installing a BlackBerry Music Gateway Bluetooth Audio Adapter. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182346156646?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Inside the arm rest is a 12v supply and a 3.5mm audio jack: You need to buy a 12v mini USB like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-2-Port-Mini-Bullet-Universal-Dual-USB-Car-Charger-Adapter-5V-2-1A-1A-/391774226811?hash=item5b3790497b:g:bN4AAOSw~y9ZCoo4 And most important a ground loop isolator like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272606832493?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Plug the USB adapter into the 12v socket Use the supplied blackberry USB to mini USB cable for power Plug the supplied blackberry 3.5 jack cable into the blackberry unit Plug the other end into the ground loop isolator And then plug the ground loop isolator 3.5mm jack into the aux port Turn on the ignition and pair your phone to the blackberry Select the Aux system from the disc/aux button Start music on your phone and hey presto it works like a charm, all your music through the wonderful Lexus speakers. The system stops when you turn the ignition off and auto starts when you put the ignition back on. Also if you have a virtual assistant like the iPhone Siri, by holding the home button down you can tell it to start whatever Album/artist/track you want and it will play that for you, and will shuffle, pause the music etc For a demo watch

Hi All, New to the club, recently purchased a IS220D 2007 and all seems fine, except one annoying thing. There is no sound coming out of the Radio, everything seems to be working except the volume function itself, as in radio seems to be playing, CD too, but the volume doesn't go up or down at all, not even via the steering wheel, no numbers going up or down on the display, the volume button switches radio on and off fine, and all other buttons seem to work too. It is just literally the volume function and therefore no sound coming out. Can any1 help? :S Regards - Riz :)

Dear Diary, Saturday 16th November, facing a long, and potentially fraught journey to East Essex from Reading - to a place known as Blackwell, near Canvey Island. My 15 year old son is taking part in a National Kung Fu Championship, and so I am travelling at 6am, waking at 5am. My son hates long trips by car as he suffers from travel sickness. Expecting the worst, I have super soap cleaners and leather polish ready in anticipation of sick on the fine leather seats.....!! I shouldn't have worried - the smoothest, most effortless drive ever - he did not complain once. After 12 hours of competition (plus him winning a couple of medals), and tiredness - the journey back was just the degree of comfort I needed, and my son fell into a deep sleep (unusual for him). I listened to Fleetwood Mac, Matthew's Southern Comfort, and Ennio Morricone (see the thread on "What Are You Listening To on Your Lexus Sound System) on the way back. What a car!!!

Hello, Music is a big part of my life. I am also new to the Lexus brand of car. Combining the astonishingly silent interior of my LS430 (newly acquired), and the amazing audiophile quality of the Levinson sound system, listening to music has never been better....whilst driving. I like a wide range of music, but mainly the jazz, blues, rock, and classical genres. So, what am I listening to? In my cd stack, I currently have: Charlie Parker (Bird On 52nd Street) Paul Weller (BBC Recordings) Howlin Wolf (Smokestack Lightning) Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here) Led Zepplin (Mothership) Borodin (Polovtsian Dances) What are you listening to?
