Within the first week of collecting my car, I was driving along an A road at about 60mph and following another vehicle in dynamic radar cruise control mode. The vehicle in front indicated that he intended turning right at a junction ahead. He maintained his speed until he moved into the stacking lane, I stayed on the main road. As he braked in the stacking lane, my car on the main road rapidly decelerated at an alarming rate, down from 60mph to about 20mph. Very fortunately, there was nothing behind me. Had there been, I feel pretty sure that they would have run into the back of me. When I got home, I turned everything I could OFF, including an option called 'Overtake Prevention'. I couldn't be sure that this had been responsible because there is virtually no information in the manual about this function. However, fortunately, since turning it OFF, I haven't experienced anything similar or as frightening. I regard this as a SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN in the UK. Do others agree? If so, I will raise it with Lexus. I value your opinions.

Hi all just a quick question re the Airbag Recall on Lexus vehicles is it all the airbags or just steering wheel/dash ones as the IS250 has lots of airbags LOL. -
Hi Got my IS300h this week and sometimes the cruise control stalk wont disengage cruise whilst in it by pulling towards me. Seems to zone out and become unresponsive every now and then. Works fine when its working but just every now and then it'll do it. Anybody heard of this before? -
Hi guys, This is my first post in this forum, so apologise if this is in the incorrect thread. I bought a used Lexus IS300h from 2014, as my judgment wasn't that great, I got one without many of the features (executive model). I was looking into a couple of things, but there is not much to be found, is there a possibility to add some of the safety features which are in the other models? Also, I was looking at the speedometer of the f sport model, can this be upgraded after the purchase? Thanks, Piri

I have just bought the CT200h Executive 2016 with built in Sat Nav and reversing camera and I also subscribe to Pocketworld GPS for Safety Camera updates which can be downloaded in many formats including Tom Tom OV2. Is there any way of updating speed camera location - The link shows an image of the Map Data which may or may not be helpful https://photos.app.goo.gl/NKcaHnD3VhYJ6Wpw1 I also thought the Sat Nav software was on a Micro SD Card but as yet have not managed to find a slot - any ideas ? Any help would be appreciated and ease the frustration.
