How to bleed your LS brakes.

NOTE: Do not let brake fluid remain on painted surfaces. Wash it off immediately

This is a 2 person operation

(1) Fill reservoir with brake fluid to specification:

SAE J1703 or FMVSS No. 116 DOT3

(2) Connect the Bleed tube to the caliper(nipple)

(3) Depress the brake pedal several times, then loosen the bleed nipple with the pedal held down.

(4) At the point that fluid stops coming out, tighten the bleed nipple, then release the brake pedal

(5) Repeat 3 + 4 untill all the air in the fluid has been bled out

REPEAT THE PROCEDURE FOR ALL BRAKE LINES AT EACH WHEEL

Torque: 11N .m (110 Kgf.cm, 8 Ft.lbf)

Before trying to loosen the bleed nipple, clean around it with a wire brush (spray with penetrant WD40/Liquid wrench if you like), then give it a couple of light taps with a hammer (from the top or the bleed nipple in the direction of the bleed nipple).

Use a six sided socket to initially loosen it.  Then switch to your spanner for bleeding.

I've learned these tips the hard way after, snapping and rounding bleed nipples in the past.
