  1. Oh ok Colin so it sounds as if I will have to run on the expensive petrol.
  2. Thanks Colin.Lexus would be able to tell me if the Mk2 GS300 has the same engine and fuel system as my Mk1 hopefully.
  3. I’m slightly confused by this as I’m sure the Mk2 GS300’s have the same engine as mine.
  4. I’ve tried that Herbie but it only goes back to 1998 on the Lexus models and that would be a Mk2 GS300.
  5. Hi to all in the club, I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed as yet so here goes. I have a 1997 very low mileage(68,000) Mk 1 GS300 Sport and I can't find out if my car would be able to run on the new E10 petrol as opposed to the standard un-leaded petrol.I've owned the car for 22 years and I'm reluctant to get rid of it so if anyone has any information on this could you please let me know.I guess I could give Lexus service a call and see what they recommend. Thanks in advance. Steve Bawden.
  6. Thank's for the reply Rick, the last batch of batteries are Duracell with a use by date of August 2018.They are still only holding a charge for around two week's,there must be some sort of short circuit in the arm or diss-arm button connections all though the red neon remains off until either button is pressed.
  7. Hi all,I'm down to my last one of two working alarm fob's and that has now developed a fault. The cr 2025 battery goes flat in about 2 weeks with very little use of the fob.Anyone else had this kind of problem or have any idea as to what could be the cause ?
  8. Thank's for the welcome Steve,a problem shared is a problem halved as they say. :winky:
  9. Hi all,I'm a new member as of today. My transponder alarm key fob stopped working about a year ago following the fitting of a new battery.Having browesed through your suggestion's for re-setting I thought I would give it a go,I tried some of the above method's and had no luck then I think by luck I managed to do the job like this : with all door's boot and bonnet locked stand in front of the car hold both button's on the fob for around 15 second's(the red neon will flash on and off while in this position)untill you have a solid red neon alight. That for me was job done.
