  1. Lexus Sidcup said they'd still be able to perform the battery check. But as it all works and I feel like i'm at least getting a bit more for my money with the diff oil change, I stopped pushing them on it.
  2. I've never taken a car to a main dealer before, I thought it would be a good start to the ownership of this new to me LS. Although given that when I checked the air filters after purchase and they looked like 2011 originals filled with dust and debris, that doesn't say much for the long list of main dealer services this car had in its previous ownership by the Duke of Wesminster! A couple of complaining emails to the dealer and to Lexus UK and the dealer has come back and offered to do both diffs free of charge. They have said their Techstream software is no longer able to peform a Hybrid Health Check on this model, and they've stuck to that even now they've offered to do the differentials, but has anyone used the Dr Prius app to look at their battery performance? Just interested to know if it's still in good condition..
  3. On the Lexus website, the 100k service includes front and rear differential oil changes - on collecting the car from its service I asked if the differential oils had been replaced and the sales guy said "oh no they are sealed for life". I didn't argue the point at the time, but that sounds like rubbish to me, especially if Lexus state replacement on their own website! Has anyone had experience of this? Part of the reason I did the service at all was because of the diff oil change, as I wouldn't want an indie doing that if they didn't work on these a lot.
