My dashboard light stays off for about 20 minutes of driving then flickers on. When I turn the heater on, it comes on quicker, so I think it is related to heat. When it does come on, it will perform normally with repeated starting and stopping. However once the car gets "cold" again, the problem recurs. I was told that I need a new power supply unit which costs $500 (U.S.). Anybody know of less expensive alternatives?
