Havent got it yet and not happy. Have been completely screwed over by the bank apprving the loan in writing then declining it over the phone becuase im 18 not 22. Lost the deposit and its back up for sale :(:(:(:(:(:( My bank said i could have the money in octobor though so ill trat myself on my birthday instead

Thanks for all your replys, I know your not all having a go at me ive beenr eading around and you seem like a nice bunch. I appreiciate the cocern and all your input its made me think alot more about the insurance and how im going to do it. Ill shop around today and tomorrow. Managed to get £500 off the car so that can go towards it too.

Thanks for the advice Wylie, I cant afford to do it right now but I will do my best to do it next year as I agree it will be better to do it sooner rather than later.

Thanks to you all for the welcome guys. I appreciate your concerns about insurance and everything but it wont be my name on the car, mum will be the one handing over the cheque and she will be the registered owner. I know i wont get any NCD but being a guy under 25 insurance just isnt possible, My previous car was a metro and my cheapest TPF&T Quote was £1500 for a 1.0 litre 1996 heap!!! And as above it was actually cheaper for me to get an IS or a civic/clio si I thought why the hell not :P

Haha! It will be more than insurance when i sort it all out on friday And i dont see why not :P Not sure what I wanna do to her yet though.
