Oh dear! I wasnt expecting anything for ****all as you put, I never have and never will. I wont be driving down that way for a least another 6 months, as I said to you before, I am in the area on the 11th. If you make a promise you could at least try to keep it, you had my mobile number and being so wrapped up in things a pm wouldnt have given you the gentle nudge you needed. It seems we wont agree on this so drop it. Still no news from MM, I dont know him and didnt know his situation, again he said he would be back in a few weeks............we are nearly 5 weeks down the line. Fine i dnt have a problem if people cant keep to arrangements, just let me know please, not too much to ask is it.

I'm not being stroppy at all, I asked for help you and Monster Matt offered it and let me down. In my world this doesnt happen as I always keep promises. It seems you are being the stroppy one because you are the one having the "you cant play with my toys attitude" A PM wouldnt have been needed if you had done like I did and written in my diary. I'm glad I didnt drive all the way down there just for that autochanger, because I would have had a strop at you then.

Hi all, I am after a boot lid with spoiler or just a black spoiler would be better, If you want a spoiler free car thats black give me a shout, happy to swap + cash. Cd autochanger compatible with the standard Lexus system. Rear bumper in black, must be tidy and crack free. Cash waiting for the right deal.

I have found this thread to be interesting and at the same time confusing. It seems I have a non import Mk1 GS300 with an overdrive switch on the side of the gear selector and also a button next to the gear selector marked.....PWR/ECT/Normal Anyone shed any light on what these switches do? I also have a lack of owners guide to help me so any ideas would be great. Tony

Thanks for the quick replies chaps, the front indicators are seperate units to the headlamps. It has grey leather interior and no signs of rebadging, So in all it sounds like its a Mk1 Legato with added leather and not an import either. Cheers Tony

Hi All, As you know I am a newbie to Lexus and bought my first one a few weeks ago. Its a nice clean black GS300 Leganto 106k on the clock and full history and Mots going back 7 years for £1500 It is on a "p" plate, I had noticed there are some blanked out holes in the sides of the bumpers where it looks like the might have been lights. Someone told me it might have been an import, but until the log book comes back from DVLA I cant tell. Anyone out the know how to tell just by a visual check? Also one thing that bothers me is the Owners manual is missing from the folder that comes with the car so tyre pressures and stuff like that are unknown, its running on 215/55/16 and though 36psi might do the trick. What do you think? Tony

Hi, its a P reg so I assume its a Mk1, I had another look and the amp has a space in front of it in a metal cage, no cables visable though. Cheers for the help. Tony

Cheers for that, I can only see what looks like an amp in there, It is under the floor liner of the boot well in the right hand side. I will have another look tomorrow. Tony
