Hi all, New to the site, kind of wish I had of checked out this forum before I bought!!! I bought my 2006 IS220 2 years ago privately with a FLSH. To cut a long story of misery short it has finally cumulated in the mechanic telling me the head gasket is gone with about 1000 miles left on it and the EGR needs to be replaced. Car has 230 kilometres Grand total of €2500 (£2000). Lexus Ireland will not entertain me because it’s out of warranty. Anyone hear of any Lexus dealers in the UK that might sympathise with this common problem or any way to source the parts cheaper in the UK. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.
