Hi I have registered before, but couldn't remember user or password as old pc gone.
I have a very odd alternator light issue, the light does not come on until you crank and it briefly lights and then goes out- battery not charging.
if I pull main power cable by unbolting it the battery light will appear with ignition on and engine not running
if I understand correctly the grey plug should have battery light, sense and a start wire.
Has anyone had a similar issue and if so an idea of wiring or alternator fault please
