  1. Would the brembo discs and PBR pads from altezza sports and prestige fit my IS300 S/C

Is there another package for about the same money that is anybetter??

Lexus in glasgow have just serviced my baby and want around 600 notes :sick: for new brakes so I thought I would get some nice shinny ones :D and fit them myself. + they want 50 notes to change the brake fluid, again I will do it myself for what ever I can get a decent brake fluid for.

    Cheers Dave :P

Think it is about time I got a good picture of my car to change my avatar

  2. Flux quoted me £900ish for a standard IS300 but I had a couple of crashes in 2002 that were beem to be my fault, although I dont agree that the first one was my fault.

+ a wee ban for doing 106 on the M6 one sunny morning in 2003.:blush:

Still I am happy with the quote. :D

  3. The same thing happened to me just after I bought my IS300, with a multimeter the Battery would read not bad ( just above 12 volts) but when I tried to start the car it would turn over but reluctantly but started then if I left anything running without starting the car I got the clicking :crybaby: .

Took it back to the garage and they said the Battery was ok as it was reading over 12 volts, forced the garage to send it down to there Lexus branch as I only had the car 4-5 weeks and the lexus boys replaced the Battery and it has been cool since. :D

  4. Hi

I don't know if they have been looked at before and decided that they will not fit a RHS car or rejected for other reason.

They are all under 6k US. and that is before a group discount.

Shipping and handling to the UK would have to be added + fitting once you get your hands on them. :D :D

So what do you think guy’s, I am still interest in have a S/C fitted for the right price of course. ;) :whistling:

  5. Always drive with the TCS off unless it is raining really heavily or icy.

Even with the TCS off and I provoke a wee slide the stability control kicks in and stops the slide, spoil sports

And no the picture left has nothing to do with the traction control, I had not even found the button yet to turn the TCS off :P

  6. Cheers for the help I will have a wee look at the links and see what is what.

    Liking the sound of 320bhp+ :D :D :D

Does anyone know if the autobox can cope with 320+

I was heading down the s/c route because of the running costs and install problems with a turbo.

More buying power for the IS300 sounds great. Anyone got a good insurer for mod'd cars my insurance will be up in september.

Yeah Mr Morse the crunch is all sorted lookin bran' new again, only had the car 5 and a half hour when the wee wowwypop ran into me with a banged up mini :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:

  7. Hi new to the site and would like you get some info on getting my IS300 sportcros moving a bit faster :D

I have not done any upgrades yet and thought I would get in at the deep end and see what happens, induction kit, exhaust and s/c.

Has anyone fitted a s/c to a IS300, is there any problem with the extra power and the tiptronic gearbox

What kind of extra power would I be looking at for the above mod's.

    what do you think :P
