i would bleed the clutch pedal line first
Sorry to bring up an old post.
How do you bleed the clutch line?
Cheers.
pretty much the same way as you do with brakes
there will be a bleed nipple (not sure where tbh )
push clutch pedal as you release the nipple, then tighten when pedal is fully depressed
Cheers Barry, bit hard to that as the pedal goes straight to the floor :(
Found the bleed nipple on the release cylinder bolted to gearbox.
Cheers as well to Steviewevie for the pics.
why a bit hard ??
Sorry, I meant 'push clutch pedal as you release the nipple' as there is nothing to push. We'll see when the car is jacked up. Fingers crossed as we're supposed to driving to Germany tomorrow.

Standard drop links ?
Front and/or rear ?
New Standard, front and rear. The old ones were pretty seized so thought it the best option.
-
Not long now guys :)
Still room for any more interested :)
-
I replaced the drop links at the same time :)

I changed mine to a 9LED setup

I've had a car inspection done and just had the report come back and it said that the oil level was too high. Just checked and it is about 5mm above the top mark. I stated that this needed urgetn attention :o
Could this damage the engine?
What is the best way to take that little drop out?

I have these on my car and are excellent, can't comment on the others as i've never tried them
I'd be interest to know where he got them from though, as we were told TRD weren't making anmore. We had a GB in 2006 and TRD offered to make 10 last sets for us then no more. Think there was only 7 of us the GB so maybe these are the last 3
I believe the GB was for £300 or close to anyway, so it's a good deal.

I've just bought a full set of Mintex pads and discs. Just waiting for the rain to stop today to fit them.

I did one a few years ago a the best track day we had at Bruntingthorpe. Managed a 15.80 at 88mph, with a dodgy clutch :)
Not sure if thats good or bad, but its what I got.
Pretty good I would say Lee. Take it that was with charger fitted etc.
Thanks for the vid Barrie
Yes mate :)

I'll PM Anees :)
Thats all i did with my IS200, i just filled in the permantly exported bit and sent it offDid you keep the rest of the V5 or give it to the new owner?
-
It says:
Buy It Now price: £0.99
bargain, as it doesn't have a disclaimer ;)
That is so true, 99p
-
I know a few people on here have sold cars abroad, I was just looking at the V5 and there is a section for exporting a car but from what I can gather this is if you are still going to be the owner and there is obviously the selling car section but this is only if your selling the car within the UK.
Just wondering what the best course of action is and which parts to fill in and give to the new buyer and which parts I keep or send back to DVLA

This is also the TRD lip on mine

Think i'm the only one on here that has the plasma one's and have to say they are awesome in the flesh :)
If I didn't have these i'd go for white. Downside is you'll then be looking at changing aircon and radio leds too, which is a lot harder than the dash :)
Hi mate, where did you get the plasma ones ?
As Parthiban mentioned it was a member who was on here a while back, I was the guinea pig for them but as nobody else was interested it never took off.
The guys handle was Snowman, although have not seen him around here lately or MSN come to think of it, might be worth sending him a PM if your interested.
How hard were they to install them?

Use your loc club card and slide it underneath your washer from front of car backwards and it'll unlicp.
