  1. few photos from Woodbridge…….

Quite a fast track and the car did very well.

Struggled a lot with traction in most of the corners and a LSD is now my main priority I reckon I’d have gained 2/3 seconds a lap if I had one fitted.

Coilovers were on hardest setting and I need to raise the front by 15/20mm as it’s a tad too low as the third picture shows !

Soarers looking good there dave, ive got the 3g discs on mine, found the goodridge hoses make a big improvement as well for quite a small price, an worth it if you've not got them

can recommend a good product if you want to change that baby poo colour interior as well ;)

  2. What age is your car? if its pre 94 then you can fit a decat pipe without worrying about refitting it for the mot, and do a bfi on the intake with a k&n panel filter, that may make it a little bit more growly but not to noticable, fit a fuel cut defender and a manual boost controler and run it up to 15psi, that should give you about 300 odd bhp give or take a bit with no visable differences outside an just a little louder! will cost 250 ish,

it would also be an idea to change your fuel filter and run some fuel system cleaner through to help it run as it should.

Without doing the exhaust you wont make the most of any other mods, you could change the exhaust downpipe, but cant say what difference that'd make, and just depends how much you want to spend, you can get some jdm supratt 440 injectors, which are a direct fit, walbro 255lph fuel pump, emanage, cams, a front mounted intercooler would be a good addition but is very visable, its possible you may be able to get a uprated sidemounted intercooler! just depends how much you want to spend an what you ultimately want from it!

  3. ET is the elapsed time, top 1 is 60foot time, bottom 1/4 mile, neither times include reation time as your timed from when you start moving, although quite often on a time slip you'll also get your reacion time.

you should have stayed.............think you'd have one the fastest Lexus !

Bugger! if only id ignored my homeward calling! altho probabaly would of felt guilty if id won as technically its a toyota, and envy's sup beat me easily! :D

  4. Hi there, cant see it being the fuel pump as the 2nd stage doesnt kick in until its being booted, there is a way to test it tho, if u put a paper clip in 2 of the jumpers in the diagnostic port in the engine, it'll make the pump run in the full mode (altho cant remember which jumpers they are at the mo! will try and find out),

if you've double checked that the belts lined up, im not to sure what else it could be, but then im sure some1 mechanically minded will be along soon :)

  5. i tunes uses a m4p format (or something) which im under the impression that only it an the ipod can use (havent heard of anything else that'll use it) using i-tunes to write it as a music disc an then re-ripping it (to your desired format) does work, but my friend had probs rewriting over the same disc again afterwards even tho it was a re-writable disc

that was the only way we found of doing it, so you may need a few blank discs!

  6. if you've got a jap import car your more likely to notice the diff, as the ecu is mapped to be running on 100ron fuel that they have over there, so the ecu will more likely be retarding the timing for standard british fuel, so optimax, or an octance booster, can only be a good idea, Especially if your giving it a bit of welly/track use etc :)
