  1. Now then, I saw a post on the dreaded stereo error when I first purchased an Is but never dreamt of it happening to me. From what I can gather CD's may have jammed and I'm gutted, if anybody knows a quick fix or possibly somebody I can contact to have look at the thing I'd appreciate it :tomato:

  2. Alright then I'll hold my hands up, maybe I don't mean the Jap style plate.

I'm after the rear number plate that I've seen on numerous UK IS 200 that is exactly the same length as the standard UK plate put slightly deeper in height, the standard depth of a uk plate is 4 and 3quater inches, i suspect its between 5 and 6 inches for the plate I have seen!!!!

    Cheers people ;)

  3. Right then, bit of a weird topic I know.

If anybody can help i'll appreciate it, I've recently purchased an IS and the number plates on it are the standard UK size. However I'm wanting to put my cherished plate on the vehicle and I'd rather put the standard size plate on the front and the deeper japansese style on the back as a Lexus should come with, I'm wanting to know the depth of the rear plate so I can stipulate this when I order them.

    Cheers fo any help!!

  4. Alright fellas,

picked up my new car last (IS200) night and I'm more than happy, however I'd just like to ask a couple of questions.

Firstly I've noticed then when i turn the vehicle off the exhaust ticks like mad, now I know this happens to most petrol cars when they've had a good thraping but i'd not been screaming her up and down the street by any means and it seamt to be really obvious that it was happening, any ideas?

In fact it was only the one question, cheers for your help in advance!

  5. Hi

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I am new to this forum.

Today has been a vey historic day for me, for many many years I have wanted to be a proud owner of an IS 200 and finally the day came. I've just chopped in my Longbridge made 25 GTI for an admirable 200 SE, yes I know considerable upgrade If I don't say so myself!

So if any of you have any decent advice for me it would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers!!! :driving:
