  1. Just purchased an Nx300h haveing had two other models. I'm using the same mobile. I paired my mobile, no problem. But its draining my android Battery, whether the car is being used or parked on my drive.

The lexus is the only Bluetooth paired device. The phone settings have not been altered from when I had the last lexus (other than pairing)

    Streaming media, off

  2. Hi all,

I am a new member and we run two 1998 LS400's. Both absolutely fantastic vehicles with the textbook 'magic carpet' ride and phenomenal reliability.

At its M.O.T. one of them showed excessive tyre wear on the inner edge of the rear nearside tyre.

No but I had my LS alignment checked / adjusted by a Lexus forum company recommended workshop with no problems, I don't recall the name but they were in Watford area. My LS400 also had front inside tyre wear

  3. I had an extended conversation with Lexus Tech (Japanese Board Level) during Silverstone GP a couple of years ago.

He stated that in extensive testing of LPG it was shown that damage was done to the engine. I dont recall if it was a specific model that had been tested.

  4. I've just become the proud owner of a 1999 Ls 400. What a fantastic car. No more Bavarian rejects for me. I was wondering about upgrading the sat nav. I went to Scotland last week and it stopped at the border (insert joke here). I believe that the upgraded disc is, a) the same a Jaguar system, b)horribly expensive. I see a few Toyota ones on ebay. Do these fit?

    Cheers

You might want to post a Q to the UK ebayer (rosswf) who is currently offering a Lexus sat nav cd. :shifty:

  5. <I live in a small town. When going across town, the Nav system insists on getting to a highway as soon as <possible, even though surface roads are much shorter.

    Normal for all NAV systems

    =============> Laser cruise control

<It does help if I (Yes I know I shouldn’t) take my eyes off the road for a moment to adjust something. I <won’t be plowing into the guy ahead if he slows down.

You've seen the Mercedes film of the Demo for their new system which is 'see in the dark' and designed to bring the car to a stop if neccessary?

The demo car crashed into the car in front

Very embarrasing and all on film :crybaby:

When I had my LS400 I got one from the Toyota dealer.

The LS was not an import it was a LEXUS but they sent me to Toyota.

About £55 if I remember correctly that was a couple of years ago.

There are plenty on eBay but mostly in the USA.

Thanks all, tried a Pioneer cartridge, but no good.

    Purchased one from Lexus £33.74
