can anyone help me i need 2 lower control arm bushes for the front suspension of my 1995 lexus ls400.i bought 2 off of eBay and had them fitted yesterday.but when i collected the car as i drove away i was greeted by the sound of loud creeking comming from the front of the car.the guy who put them in said that they were very tight to fit.in fact he had taken a sliver of material off in order to get them in.they are a urathane type bush which i was told would need lubicating before being installed.i told the guy at the garage before he started the job.and assured me that the bushes had been lubircated.i have been in contact with lexus cambridge only to be told that they dont sell the bushes they only sell the complete control arm.which for both sides would come to over £500.00.obviously a delibarate ploy by lexus to make people spend more money then they need to.so if anyone can tell me of someone who does the bushes,preferably in the u.k. i would be most grateful.

just had a full service done on my 95 ls400 jap import.no serious problems to report however the garage did advise me to get a new Battery.does amyone know if when you disconnect the Battery and put the new Battery on.wether this will cause the radio/satnav to ask for a radio/satnav code to be entered?.would appreciate any feedback anyone might have.

hi does anyone know where i might get hold of a wood dash kits for an ls440.with the sat nav screen looked on eBay but can only find the kits for non satnav models would love to get one i think it would finish the dash off nicely.

does anyone have a lexus ls400 celsior with a sat nav system fitted. ihave just bought a 1995 celsior the sat nav has japanese menus on it and in the boot is a SIX disc changer for the sat nav.i was wondering if anyone could tell me why it needs six discs as compared to the usual one disc system. i got hold of a uk lexus sat nav disc off of eBay and put that in the changer but nothing happened.so if any of you guys or girls own a celsior with this sat nav in it please contact me if you think you can help me out.

hi everyone

just took delivery of my 1995 lexus ls400 jap import today.been farting about with all the toys and buttons.however there is a little red oblong shaped button on top on the tranny tunnel above and to the right of the gear selector.wondered if anyone knows what it does it has some jap writing on it .this is,nt the only button with jap writing on it in my lexus but the other buttons sort of explain themselves by pushing them and seeing what happens.would apprecitae any info on this.

can anyone help me out with some info i am conseding buying a 96 n reg lexus celsior.the car is in top notch condition however the sat nav when activated is in japanes.is it possible to simply exchange this unit with a sat nav unit from a uk lexus.and change the disc from the jap disc to a uk disc. woujld be most grateful for ant comments or advice.
