I'm still very new on this.. almost virginal!

I've just treated myself to a nice new Is250.. now 2 weeks in, and still finding nice little oddities. So far - well pleased :)

Would be nice to hear from anyone in the midlands area. Since I ordered mine at the beginning of Feb, I've only seen three others on the road! Where are you all?

im buying an IS200 SPORT model on saturday and was just wondering what advice you all can give me to look out for? any common problems etc. its a 2001 model with 51k on the clock and full lexus s/h... Cheers!

I just sold my is200, same age.. 2001. Had no probs at all with it, so u should have yourself a good car there. Like the others say, think they had an issue with some alloy corrosion - they changed mine under warranty, no quibble. Other than that - 60k of problem free motoring.

I thought I'd start this for people with experience, short cuts, ideas etc to post to help us with not enough hours in the day...

Here's one -

The wheelbase is quite a lot shorter than my Audi. I know this because I had to move my parking "bricks", which may account for the firmish/choppy ride, but nimbler handling!! I reckon a good few inches too!

Any more gems from anyone? Anything is game...

The is200 is going,, the is250 is arriving next week... any tips? New member to site!
