  1. Thanks guys, managed to get the seat up and have a look, nothing looks out of place. I'll have a closer look tomorrow when it's light outside.

I suppose i'll just have to live with it for now. but just knowing it's not working is really winding me up :)

But thanks for the help guys.

  2. if you remove the rear seat bottom, the fuel guage sender is in the tank in the possition directly behind the driver (rhd)

Thanks for the quick reply Monter-Mat, just a quick question. How do i remove the rear seat bottom? I ran down to the car and had a quick look, but could not see how. Are there bolts i need to remove? if so i guess i'll have to take it to a garage to have a look at.

    Cheers,

  3. Hi,

Yesterday i hit the underside of the car on a speed ramp, i was not going very fast, so was not a big bump.

About half an hour later i noticed that my fuel gauge was now showing that i had just under half a tank of petrol when i know for a fact i had under a 1/4 of a tank.

I guessed that the bump had done something to my fuel gaue. I even went and filled the tank up to see if this would unstick the needle, but no joy.

The needle has not moved from just under half a tank since.

The needle moves to the bottom when i turn the car off, but goes back to the same position when i turn the car on.

So what i need to know is......

Is this something i could fix myself? i mean how hard is it?

or if i do have to take it to a garage, how much can i expect this to cost me?

    Hope someone can help.

    Cheers,
