  2. can ya tell me if the supra twin turbo exhaust is the same as the aristo twin turbo and will it fit the aristo.

Ive a Aristo amp i bought from Rob on this forum,paid £70 for it,i got my radio working again seems the amp in my car was ok after all.I did plug the amp i bought in when first bought it and at the time the radio still didnt work Rob said the amp worked fine when he took it out his car but ive not checked it since.I see your in Wales if your up near me or wont to drive over and try it your more than welcome to..

    £70 if your interested,sorry cant help with the bumper sorry.

    hi m8 how far away do ya live m8 from west wales,

    :) hi peeps well need an amp for the aristo as you probably seen my other posts its cuputt as in blown,

    SO IF ANY1 can tell me whare to get 1 .

    i also need a front bumper complete as the aftermarket 1 on the car is falling apart. splitting, bits falling of.

    want a standard 1 for it so help on ware to get these parts would be gratefull ,,,... its an 92 aristo 3000 twin turbo the gs 300 parts are the same i belive. have got pics on this site of the car .just 1 more thing peeps

    i got to play about with the gear stick for the lights to light up on the D R P 2 ON DASH .

    need to sort it out ive been told its something to do with censor on selector and gear box got to come off .to relace this ,is this right cheers all and thanks for advice up front ohhh by the way if the light,s dont light up the car will only rev to 2500 revs if the light come on it kicks *****. cheers again ;)

    the amp is blown cause it was under water in the boot

  5. Its easier on the Mk1 than the MK2 purely because of the VVTi engine in it. If you pop over to the supra forums you'll get a good idea. But just as an idea. If you are staying with stock turbo's then you are looking at uprating the fuel pump (walbro is accepted as the standard replacement), Free flowing the exhaust by putting in a bigger bore item and usually taking out the cats, Putting in better charge cooling than the stock item (be that an uprated SMIC or an FMIC). Then you get into cams (HKS are considered good) and stuff to squeeze the last few horses out. My supra with 474 BHP on stockers had water injection as well to try and keep the charge temps down. I'd advise you look at 550 cc injectors and some way of controlling them as the engine starts to run lean at that sort of power on 440's.

    The supporting kit like Fuel cut defencer (allows you to boost over 1.0 bar) Boost controller (stock controller will suffice but an aftermarket one allows you to control it a bit better) will be required. Theres some VVTi specific stuf that needs doing but you'd have to ask the likes of gaz walker for that info.

  6. Oh I delimited it ages ago. I found the ECU speed input no bothers as it was the same as the supra's. It was the speedo speed input I couldn't find. As it happens I have just uploaded the photo's now so here they are.

    Before ya'll start I realise the wiring aint brilliant. I was in a hurry yesterday as it was getting very cold and just a bit dark :)

    nice 1 brain got the limiter box thingy but cant get no1 to fit it m8 they say there is 3 computors on them,

    is this for real 112 my1 will do but it gets there yesterday if ya know what i mean .limiter comes in quick to... :yawn:

  7. They're Tein springs Chips, think they're about 25mm lower and slightly firmer.

    The amp looks likes it's been sitting in a bit of water over the years, leaky boot syndrome.

    Reminds me I must sort mine out.

    yip right on both accounts m8 that would explain why the radio dont work hu left for a while boot filled with water :tomato:

  8. :blink: hi again now i got the car just descoverd my radio dont work well it comes on and plays but no output so that thing in boot must be amp the cd part is in the dash single cd .but it is standard fitting.the boot had water in it from a dodgy seal in boot lid .its been idle for a year or more in my mates garden .so time to get it back on road. cheers peeps

HI PEEPS AS YA CAN SEE IM A NEWBIE AND THANK U FOR HAVING ME :D .RIGHT THEN I GOT THIS THING IN MY BOOT ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE UNDER THE CARPET IT LOOKS LIKE A COMPUTOR OVE SOME SORT WITH A FEW WIRES GOING INTO IT ON PLUGS.OH YEA BY THE WAY THE CAR IS A LEXUS ARISTO 3000 TWIN TURBO MK1 1992-3 .JUST HOPING SOME1 CAN TELL ME WHAT IT IS. ITS ABOUT 8 TO 9 INCHES LONG BY 4 TO 5 ACROSS .JUST 1 MORE THING IF YA DONT MIND ITS AN AUTOMATIC BUT SOMETIMES THE LIGHTS DONT LIGHT ON DASH TO SAY WHAT GEAR IM IN AND I GOT TO MOVE ABOUT A BIT TO GET IT TI LIGHT UP .IF IT DONT LIGHT UP THE CAR WONT REV ITS LIKE ITS IN LIMP HOME MODE WHEN THE LIGHT COMES ON IT THEN PULLS LIKE A HORSE IVE HAD A LOOK AT THE GEAR STICK BUT CANT GET IN TO SEE CANT GET THE GEARKNOB OFF .APART FROM A LOAD OF DUST I CANT SEE NOTHING WRONG.
