Think a new wing from lexus is around €230+vat.

Well ware. You wont be dissapointed. Stick up some pics when you can :D

My altezza has the red line at 7750rpm and the clock goes to 9000rpm. Never seen any other altezza different. Mines a manual RS200 but I think the tiptronic RS200 is the same. It might have been an AS200 you were looking at as these are the same as the Is200 with the 1gfe engine and they dont rev as high.
As for the vvti 'kick' in. Its not like a vtec as it does not just kick in but it does change to aggressive around 5000rpm on the RS200 altezza and you can definatly feel the power after that point.

I think the front wings you are talking about are called Shift Sports. They are 10mm wider than standard and have a vent. There the same as the silver altezza above.

Did it make it much quieter Noel

All depends on how much money you have. The HKS D1 altezza had 540bhp!!! with the 3SGE

Welcome another irish member. Nice looking car and some good extras. Great colour.

Mine were the same way when I got it. I replaced the bulbs in the main back lights and all was well. Worked away. Seems to be a thing they do in Japan. I've seen the same thing on a few altezza's

Well ware. Looks well

The ARB will brob make the biggest difference compared to lowering springs. The cusco ones will work with the standard bushings but the bushings with the TRD ones are a harder rubber I think so will last longer.

I must be miss informed. My bad. Must do some more reading up on it

I have the Apexi kit. Can't fault it. Makes a nice roar

Maybe try and change the oil. The torsen relies on the oil to make it lock up so maybe your oil is gone bad

As far as the difference is there is none except for the engine. Trim and suspension are all the same. You will struggle to get an altezza with leather and the jap sat nav will not work in england. Quality is the same on both IS an RS

My clutch is starting to slip slightly and am planning an upgrade. The question i have is i've been looking at a billet lightweight flywheel on ebay(link below) and also been looking at a JUN lightweight flywheel and i'm wondering will either of these flywheels work with the TRD clutch cover and disc or will I have to get the TRD flywheel too.
Any help is appreciated

I have one on mine and love it. Its not any louder at low revs but when you get up the revs there is a lovley roar off it. Very easy to live with. You wont be dissapointed

Dont see much motorway in my area but generally I keep it under 4000rpm and hardly ever pass 50mph. The roads around my area dont suit my low car. Couple of weeks ago went on a long road trip to a show was driving hard all the way and still got 520km from a tank of petrol.

I'm getting about 30mpg out of mine.

Thanks for the info Am. Much appreciated

Thanks am. Its outside so no problem with the gas. Was told it was bad for you alright. I have measured what size belt I need so must just source that. When I remove the pipes from the bulkhead can I just leave to holes as they are or do i need to cover them up
Thanks

Looking for a bit of help. My aircon pulley rattles mad and was told the magnetic clutch is prob in trouble. As I dont use the aircon at all I was thinking of removing the whole thing.
What I need to know is when I screw off the H plug on the pipe to let out the gas can I just start taking the pipes off and where the pipes enter the bulkhead do I need to block these off or just deave them as they are after I pull the pipes out.
Will I need to move the power steering cooler thing in front of the aircon rad to get it out.
Sorry for all the questions and thanks for any help

Hyundai Coupe 16" alloys will fit too. Not that good looking either but they do fit.
