Why not wait for the original TTE chip? it's bound to come by early fall, will keep your warranty with no changes and it has better specs (at least in paper):
220HP
470Nm
It should cost about 1150€
The german forum is organizing a group-buy, I'm looking into it, but as some othere, I'd prefer to see a graph first and hear some feedback. The car is very spikey as it is (narrow powerband) so I dont want it even more spikey, I want more power on the lower rev-range

I have had mine for a month and a half .Absolutely no rattles but I do have the mirror problem. However as almost no-one here uses their mirrors anyway , maybe I'll just join the sheep. Sorry to belabour a point but THE SAT/NAV IS ABSOLUTE CRAP. Half the towns in Ireland don't exist on it and whoever worked out the routes did so on major roads of which we don't have a lot and we use even less as they are always jammed. Probably with people using their sat/nav. I am delighted with the mileage however, 43mpg average.
I don't feel bad for not ordering the SAT/NAV... I don't really use it (we have a bigger car for travelling, that one does have it) and my job only requires that I ocasionally visit new customers, I tend to be on longer engagements (1 year or so with the same customer before moving on).
The sound of the standard system is amazing. I have to recognize the Sat/Nav has a great WOW factor, with it's big screen and the reverse camera... and I miss the Bluetooth (might install the Motorola IHF-1000 kit soon)... then again, it was 4000 €

220 Luxury (the spec in Germany is called that, basically everything except ML)
1 week old
900kms
37MPG on my first full tank (with Germany driving conditions)
Completeley rattle free, the car is the bomb, couldn't be any happier
here a little pic
color is called Titanium Blue here, Breakwater blue in the US. Black leather interior, 17" wheels. I think the spec is a mix of the different trim levels avalable in the UK.

Hello People, I just registered yesterday, after lurking for some 3-4 months. I own a IS220d, which is about to 1 week old.
Since I live in Germany, I get to drive the car (even the 6th) to its fullest potential everyday. So far, no problems, no rattles, no nothing, only driving comfort and exhilaration (yep, you heard that right).
Anyway, I digress, coming to this point, I was interested as well in the Motorola kit, but hated the idea of an additional speaker.

The whole thread is interesting, but if you want to go straight to the post where everything is explained, go to

After reading that you (or your installer) should be able to make the Bluetooth work through the car speakers. You need a "Loom" to make it work, conveniently enough, the guys who sell it are based in the UK as well.
Cheers

Oh well, I'd rather have then take their time and make it work as expected on the first go, than going shortly after the installation for a firmware update or something else... Some things are not to be hurried!
