My 1990 LS400 has developed a hesitation after warming up. It runs fine when it is cold, but after it reaches normal operating temperature it hesitates under acceleration unless I accelerate heavily. The idle is normal but sometimes it will shudder when in drive at a stop light. My past experience with other cars made me think that it was one or both of the distributor caps. I changed them at still have the problem.
Any suggestions?

Hello to all. I have been a Lexus owner for 12 years now. I purchased a 1990 LS400 and have been extremely please with it ever since. Sure every now and then something needs attention, other than scheduled maintenance, but not very often. These are great cars. Mine has 230,000 miles on it and looks and drives like new.
