Hi All.I have a weeping radiator on my 2004 Ls.Plenty of aftermarket ones out there or should I bite the bullet and go main Dealer?

I have the one without a top filler but would one with a filler be ok ?TIA

Bad for Oxford Autogas but LEXUS Reading always been good to me.

There was nothing wrong with the car as I was assured by LEXUS. Using the OBD machine incorrectly caused a spike into the system thus triggering the fault light.

Hi all.Update on my Vsc/Trc light.A quick visit to my friend at LEXUS Reading and 5 mins on the OBD and a zero point calibration done.Lights out and a verdict on the guys at Oxford Autogas "!@$/&€! "

Hi.Not a good experience really.First appointment cancelled because the LPG mechanic wanted a day off,but at least they rang me.On the day I was booked in first 1200.Checked the car in at 1140.Was told to come back around 1330.When I came back they hadn't even started it.Took the car in at 1340 and was out in 35 mins.Car runs OK but as soon as I got on the motorway the VSC/Trc light came on.Phoned them and was fobbed off and told it's a problem with the car.Had a look on here on a couple of posts and utility seems that something hasn't been tightened properly. Haven't had time to go back but they are pretty arrogant and rude so next time I'll probably go back to BPV in Slough.

£79 + Vat but hassle with it .

Sorry if it's a bit of a story !

Yes it was Oxford AUTOGAS. Daughter lives out that way so took a day off work and booked in there. At least my lunch was free 😉

Hi.I have the same issue with my vsc/trc light coming on after a LPG service.Did they say what was not tightened up ?

I am off to Oxford  Autogas in Tiddington   on Friday  for a Lpg service . Will let you know how I get on.

My daughter has used them a few times  for her Seat and gotten  great service  so here's hoping .

I have previously used BPV services in Slough but they do not open on Weekends so I need to either someone to come to me or a place within 30 mins or so that opens on a weekend.

Hi all.I now have an oven on wheels as during the 3/4 days of summer we have I have no air con  !Had a guy from AC4 cars look at it and said that there was gas in the system but the compressor was not cutting in.Need to check whether an electrical or mechanical fault.I had the rad and condenser replaced 2 years ago.Any ideas? Thx in advance

HI all.After many many months i have managed to connect my Samsung s4 to the cars handsfree system( 2004 ls430).I also can transmit the contacts via Bluetooth.From the transfer menu in the cars handsfree menu select transfer and add

You have to go into your phone;

select contact

view contact

share namecard then select Bluetooth

should find the cars handsfree and confirm 'file sent'

I have done some research and am tempted by the new Michelin Cross climate tyres.Not available in 245/45/18 yet but I have a set of 17" wheels so will go for 225/55/17 as fitted on previous Ls models.cheapest I've found.let me know if anyone can get them cheaper.thx

Lexus ls430 2004 LPG

i always key lock mine.Also i have i bigger more powerful Bosch Silver plus battey wedged in.It fits but the terminals are at the bottom of the Battery tray as you have to put it in 'upside down'.Battery is available for same price as a standard Lexus one from Costco.

Has anyone had the rear pipes 'capped' and re gassed?
