  1. Looking at purchasing a MarkI RX300, because we have 2 huge dogs, can anyone tell me how high from the ground the boot lip is, also how high/tall from the boot to the roof is? All the garages seem to have on markII/III's on the forecourts?

    Many Thanks

    Hiya,

do you still need an answer to this question cos i'm happy to nip out with a measuring tape and meaure our boot if you like.... not gonna bother if you've already found out though :)

    xx

  2. Hello,

I am the proud owner of a shiny new... erm... well old.... 2001 RX300; and I LOVE IT!!! One thing that has occurred to me is that the satnav disc is probably really out of date - there are several roads near me that aren't even there - it's like driving through a field on the little screen

SO I was wondering if anyone knows if there are more recent discs, and if Lexus regularly produce updates? I'd like to get the newest one I can if it's possible. Are they expensive?

    Thanks in advance

    C xx

  4. Thanks for this thread - i'm about to insure my RX300 (probably with you Alastair!) so this is really interesting! This year, i'm just after the cheapest quote I can get because i'm skint after buying my car! And A Plan are nearly the cheapest - Sheila's Wheels are currently top - any reviews of their service?? But generally if a broker is friendly and efficient, then i'd much rather use one than shop around myself - even if I have to pay a few quid extra.

But I have a question - in the event of a claim does the broker get involved in any way or carry any weight if your insurer is dragging their feet?

    :D
